Trudeau’s star power skids to a halt in Medicine Hat byelection

Brian LilleyArchive

Despite Trudeau’s efforts in the Medicine Hat by-election where he proclaimed he would return Liberal fortunes in this bastion of conservatism, the Conservatives won the by-election in even larger numbers than they took the riding last time.

The Liberals got crushed taking just 25% of the total vote.

While the turnout was low as is normal in by-elections, Conservative Glen Motz took 69.85% of that vote which is higher than the 68.8% taken by the previous CPC MP, Jim Hillyer.

It’s good to see that some Canadians remain immune from the good looks, the hair and the charm, though it seems in most parts of the country, the honeymoon is still on.

But this Liberal loss and some frosty feelings directed at Trudeau from the labour movement may be the cracks in the armour that are starting to show as more Canadians realize Sunny Ways aren’t all they’re cracked up to be.

Trudeau was a stop gap reflex to get rid of Harper and nothing else.
But it does prove the adage of the devil you know doesn’t it.
The Liberals will never hold office in Canada again after this Sex-ed bullcrap, I seriously doubt whether he will even make it through his term in office if what I am hearing is true from every single person I have spoken too.

Never ever ever vote for a generational politician… Example George W. Bush, Justin Trudeau, Rachel Notley, and the list goes on.
They all seem to run down the path that their fathers walked on.

You mean the gleam came off the shiny pony? A part time drama teacher with his daddy’s name on his resume is not enough for voters? WTF?!

Well Trudope needs to go. My wife had a job in SW Sask for 10 years and lost it today due to this idiots financial muck ups. The company is laying off most of their production line, paint staff, welders etc. TY sunni ways. (yes I intentionally typed “sunni”)

The devil can certainly make himself look pretty, which is why I pay attention to their actions. If it seems like a snow job, it usually is.

It doesn’t matter if they are a salesman or saleswoman. If they are handsome or beautiful and glib , they can sell you a car that you think you need , even if down deep you really don’t want the thing. But as time passes and you’ve had the pile of junk lemmon back to the dealership a hundred times, you become less enamoured with the con artist that took you to the cleaners.
When the majority of your hard earned dollars are being seized by the government and you can’t put food on the table and you are waiting til seven to cook your meals during the supposedly cheap off hours, hopefuly you are going to see the light, no pun intended.

Nice to see Trudeau wiping the crow and humble pie off his chin.

This is why the prime idiot is trying so hard to change our voting system. He thinks he is going to be the dictator and lord it over Canadians, like a badge of honour. Hopefully he knows his history, and particularly how Mussolini ended up.

The Liberals were luck to have had the five they did have, and will probably loose most of the four they still have come next election.

Lieberals are mostly still hated in Alberta because of Pierre “Idiot” Trudeau, and that hatred is not being squelched by Justin “Numbskull” Trudeau, but exacerbated.

However, I think that the NDP have jumped out into first place for the most hated.

Medicine Hat is CPC land – so this one isn’t a big deal.

But it’s still great that Medicine Hat gets it and sends a resonating message, “FUCK YOU TRUDEAU”.

Medicine Hat JT, a sign of things to come. Take heed, your time is numbered and your Muslim friends will not help you, they have no time for Cucks.

So sad the Liberals lost. And after all of our tax dollars spent by Justin and his band of thieves to defeat the Conservative candidate.

Bill I posted on the other thread that I live in the Hat. My landlord put up a liberal election sign so I had to ask him if he actually voted liberal. He heed and hawed a bit before telling me that Stan (the liberal) is just a really nice likeable guy. I saw a lot of those signs in the neighbourhood so I assume Stan is well known and well liked. They were voting for him-not Trudeau. Bunch of cucks.

AS the results rolled in, pretty much 3 to one for Conservative, I found myself wondering where all these Liberal votes came from – I have done business in the Hat and stayed there many times when phesant hunting and it always impressed me as a major working man’s town.

High paid skilled trades workers and small business tend to vote right. Public sector drones and parasites vote Dip and Idle non value added net workers vote Librano – where are these Libranos in Med Hat coming from? Did the entire staff of social service at the college vote red? If you’re from the Hat and have an answer I’d love to know.

Rino Party and NDP did about the same… within 140 votes of each other.
