Trudeau’s troubling worldview on full display in ISIS announcement: He doesn’t know who the enemy is

Brian LilleyArchive

Listening to Justin Trudeau speak to Canadians about the way we should view and discuss ISIS makes me wonder whether he knows that he won the election last October.

"There are those who think we should engage in heated, over the top rhetoric when speaking about ISIL and terrorist groups like them," Trudeau told the reporters gathered at the National Press Theatre on Monday morning.

Speaking in his best, ‘I’m reading you a bedtime story’ cadence, Trudeau said that Canada is stronger than ISIS.

"We see things in a different way," Trudeau said.

"ISIL would like us to see them as a credible threat to our way of life and to our civilization. We know Canada is stronger, much stronger than the threat posed by a murderous gang of thugs, who are terrorizing some of the most vulnerable people on Earth."

Well, how is that for heated rhetoric? Isn't that what Prime Minister Trudeau just warned us against?

Of course when he is speaking of those that want to engage in "heated, over the top rhetoric", Trudeau is of course speaking of the now defunct Conservative government that he and his Liberals defeated last October. Even four months into power and at a time of announcing his latest policy, one he has telegraphed for months, Trudeau can't help but take jabs at the Conservatives.

Then he turns to lecturing Canadians on how they must treat ISIS.

"Call us old-fashioned, but we think that we ought to avoid doing precisely what our enemies want us to do," Trudeau said. "They want us to elevate them, to give in to fear, to indulge in hatred, to eye one another with suspicion and to take leave of our faculties."

Get that? Don't give in to ISIL's demands that we eye each other strangely, with suspicion. Trudeau is of course warning against hate crimes without acknowledging that the vast majority of Canadians actually support continuing the bombing mission he just ended, a bombing mission to predominantly help Muslims escape the clutches of ISIS.

It is a progressive tic to constantly warn about hate crimes against Muslims even as year after year Jews are most frequently the victims of religious hate crimes and Catholic churches are the most common target of hate crimes against properties.

But Trudeau wasn't done, he had this to say about fighting back against ISIS.

"The lethal enemy of barbarism isn’t hatred. It’s reason. And the people terrorized by ISIL every day don’t need our vengeance, they need our help," Trudeau said.

Actually I'm pretty sure if you asked the people targeted by ISIS, they would say they want us to help them get vengeance.

I would have preferred that Canada's CF-18s continued to join our coalition allies in the bombing campaign against ISIS. Those bombing missions have been effective in disrupting supply lines, trade routes and in helping Kurdish forces take back territory.

But beyond that and beyond the announcement that Canada will triple our training mission (we shall see how that goes) I worry about Trudeau's worldview.

The comments he made about ISIS - how we should speak of them and what they are - leave me questioning whether he truly knows the enemy he is committing our soldiers to fight.

All in favour of having Justin go to Iraq and Syria to meet with his buddies in ISIL, raise your hand! Captain Canada to the rescue!
We’re doomed….

OMG…this guy is a vacuous MORON! He should be on stage at the Stratford Theatre…I’ve never been so ashamed of a Prime Minister…

My Canada includes Canadians. Trudeau’s, not so much. It seems to me that Justin is more concerned about the people who get here tomorrow than the people whose families have been here for generations. How do you spell treason again?

Michael Casselman – unfortunately we already have these archaic values taking root here in Canada. The imam’s have been teaching their hatred of us in their mosques for years. Every Friday, they get a whole day that includes teaching the little children how to behead the infidel, by using teddy bears, in addition to the constant droning brainwashing of hatred towards us. We, in the west give our children teddy bears to cuddle. I’m thinking that we should be teaching them how to shoot straight instead. They should never have been allowed to set-up their terrorist training camps in our country.

Reason and diplomacy will not work. Who would he negotiate with, and under what authority, ( U.N., Nato, Iraq, Syria? ). He probably isn’t qualified to answer that either. That is the problem with utopian dreamers, in the realm of theory, all is marvelous, but in the shrouds of reality lie the cold hard facts of different cultures, behind the scenes influences, generations of hate, and real evil that we cannot comprehend. As foolish as it would be to try and impose western style values on the region, we must be vigilant not to import old middle eastern hatred into our society. We cannot cure all the worlds ills, but must protect our way of life and modern inclusive values.

What a pompous tool. He speaks like he’s addressing a classroom of of 6 year olds with that shit eating smirk of his. So the people in Syria and Iraq don’t need our revenge? Uh, yeah, they do. He needs to be dropped off in ISIS territory, raped, stoned and tortured so he can understand why they need to be destroyed. I refuse to call this moron PM. I just refer to him as the Idiot in Ottawa.

CNN reporting a likely attack on US soil this year with ISIS infiltrating refugee groups. Possible yes. What I fear more is that an attack on our friends in the south is launched from here. 10-15 years ago the federal lieberals could barely get a phone call returned from Washington. Watch what happens to the friendship with our largest trading partner and the worlds longest undefended border if it does happen.

Simple Definition of threat:
: a statement saying you will be harmed if you do not do what someone wants you to do
: someone or something that could cause trouble, harm, etc.
: the possibility that something bad or harmful could happen
Full Definition of vengeance:
: punishment inflicted in retaliation for an injury or offense : retribution
So, ISIS poses no credible threat? And, they do not need our vengeance, but they need our help?
I like this idea of vengeance: “A holy war may be launched to root out terrorism, but its form must be a punitive crusade, an angry god’s vengeance exacted upon sinners, since no proper war can exist when there is no recognition of the other’s list of grievances, no awareness of the relentless dynamic binding the powerful and powerless. —John Edgar Wideman, Harper’s, March 2002”
I particularly like this statement: ""They want us to elevate them, to give in to fear, to indulge in hatred, to eye one another with suspicion and to take leave of our faculties." simply because this is what the illustrious Emperor has done here – he has taken leave of his faculties!!!

Is there a resident psychiatrist or psychologist on this site who can give us a professional opinion on Justin. There have been lots of descriptive language from the posters but what I would like to know is he insane? I am just trying to guage how much time before this nut job destroys the country, and his hidden intentions. I am getting indications he is trying to sync up with Obama and possibly get more control with a martial law scenario.

Now I get it. We are going to defeat ISIS with political correctness. The first step is not to say anything bad about ISIS as they are very misguided and naughty children who need help. Do not say anything offensive as this will only inflame ISIS and is counter productive. Diplomacy and negotiations will close the deal and everybody will go home happy. Thanks to Just In Time and lots of money of course.

I think this so-called Prime Minister should be the one to lead the negotiations with the the “so-called Islamic State”. His condescending tone is enough to make anyone gag. His toughest decision in his life has been red or white wine with dinner, and I would bet he even got that wrong (Sophie corrected him).

He’s a total dim witted twat and an embarrassment to Canada. All you have to do is look at him to know he’s half-baked most of the time and lacks any knowledge of world politics or anything useful to be a world leader. Federally and provincially, the Liberal parties are nothing more than shysters out to grab every bit of money from the taxpayers. It’s such a shame to see what this country has become. I’m so glad I found this website with like-minded people as I was beginning to think I was the only conservative left in Canada.

This guy makes the problem to be ourselves and our hate. The signature response of the radical left, in their unbounded arrogant self-righteousness.

Even though this is the rebel, I would bet there are some who voted for the “change” bs that swept the country. It seems since the election that hardly anyone admits to voting for him.

We don’t have a Prime Minister, we have a vacant cliché locked on endless loop. A talking sock puppet with a limited pre recorded message

If we were to remove the anti-Harper rhetoric and the banal platitudes, we are left with a substanceless twit who has nothing left to attach him to the real world. This is a “true believer” every bit as dangerous as the zealots handing out the fruit punch at Jonestown. – so deeply convinced that his dogmatic belief system is right, that he rejects objective evidence to the contrary.

This fool will damage Canada and put our nation at needless risk.

Wherever he goes in Canada, Turn your back on Trudeau. The NYPD made their disgust at bad management apparent to all, Canadians should do the same. Everyone in this country simply turn your back on him. His narcissistic personality can’t handle that. Our women should not have to worry about their safety to satisfy some guilt trip.
And to the poster who says to call your MP, I have been emailing them on their official parliamentary email addresses and received one reply, this is an unmonitored email account. Are you serious?

I also forced myself to watch this gobbledygook trying in vain to understand what he was saying either straight out or between the lines and I’m still at a complete loss. All I know is that I must still be still trembling for good reason. Even the cbc was having a hard time apologizing for him so you know its got to be bad. This is indeed getting scary in the extreme.

I fear for the future of this once great country. It seems that Trudeau spends more time in a Mosque these days than in a church. The Muslim religion and its ideology is not compatible with democracy period. It never was or nor will it ever be. The real leaders of their communities are religious zealots that control everyone’s daily life. Trudeau preaches that he is a feminist but dresses up in Muslim garb, prays in the Mosque while women are forced to sit at the back. Muslim men treat their women like property, make them walk behind them and force them to cover up except for the eyes. Yes Trudeau, that is true feminism. Wasn’t it Nero that fiddled while Rome burned. The rest of the civilized world will eventually see him for what he is; an idiot and a moron. He is abandoning our allies and embracing Islam and that is scary in itself. Pulling our jets out but increasing ground troops is typical Liberal rhetoric. He won’t send in more troops. Liberals always make promises that they break hoping that stupid voters won’t notice. In most cases these people think that the Liberals can do no wrong and keep voting them in. Trudeau lives in a fantasy world but reality will bite him in the ass and just look for the “deer in the headlights” look.

What world is this guy living in? I guess he has already forgotten about the terrorist attacks in Ottawa and Quebec and all the other near misses that may have happened if not for being stopped ahead of time by our police forces. It’s too bad the terrorist that stormed the parliament buildings hadn’t gotten into the Liberal caucus room and saved us all from this moron.

Can’t watch this clown. He still doesn’t get it, just like the other lefties who have their heads stuck in the sand. According to him they are not a threat at all & we shouldn’t play into their hands. Oh, I get it, let’s deny they even exist & because Canada is so much stronger, we don’t have to fear anything. Are we in trouble or what, even if he did not believe his own words he would say them anyways just to show us that unlike PM Harper, he’s got this all figured out & heaven forbid, we avenge the evil atrocities they have carried out, because we’re better than that. Does anyone with a lick of sense think that ISIS gives a rat’s ass about what Trudeau thinks? Just goes to show you how right we were when we said HE WAS NOT READY & sad to say will never be ready. He can never speak from the heart, always has to be scripted & like the rest of his B.S. nothing but platitudes. He may have the brain of a 5 yr old, but the rest of us are grown up & we want real answers. Every morning when I wake up, I wonder what kind of crap he has in store for us today.

The RCMP reported finding a man’s body in Steveston, near the mouth of the Fraser River.

The dead man’s name will not be released until his family has been notified.

The victim apparently drowned due to excessive beer consumption.

He was wearing black fishnet stockings, a red garter belt, a pink G-string, a strap-on dildo, purple lipstick, a ‘Trudeau for PM’ T-shirt, and ……. a cucumber stuck in his rectum.

The police removed the Trudeau T-shirt to spare his family any unnecessary embarrassment.

There you go folks.

I do not blame it all on selfie boy.

I toughed out the whole speech – I admit it sickened me.

This is what the welfare provinces of the maritimes, kebec and ontario have given Canada.

Without the clean sweep on the east coast, the frogs jumping to suck selfie boy’s dick to get a few extra bucks into their province and Toronto and Ottawa piling on – we would not be dealing with this.

Any wonder the west wants out?

Selfie boy sent 2.65 billion to the climate control nazis in Paris and only 700 million to Alberta.

Even better – all those rapefugees are going to be centered in ontario and kebec to guarantee votes in the future.

And the provinces will have expanded welfare rolls as the feds download the rapefugees on to provincial coffers.

Look for another couple of billion to be spent supporting them – while our own sleep on the streets.

Yup – welfare provinces listed below – and if you come from there do not ever ask me for a job – I now check the addresses on resumes received and shred the ones from the east.

Nova Scotia
New Brunswick

Those are the people who – as a whole – who gave us this new government.

Any wonder I would never stop to help one of them if they had a flat tire?

I can only pray for a car accident or a plane crash.

In the meantime I work in shit holes to help those who thought they could count on Canada.

The new government.

We are the new cowards on the street – “when push comes to shove – do not call the Canadians.”

Those words are a direct quote from a person working at a major defence agency who I discussed contract details with in DC last week.

We are getting well known – and not in a good way.

It works like this:

You can build a thousand bridges and be known as a world class bridge builder – until someone catches you sucking one cock.

Forever after you will be known as a cock sucker.

Canada’s reputation in the world community has suffered a blow that will take a generation (possibly more) to recover from.

What’s really “troubling” is watching him speak about serious topics. There is a disconnect between what he says and what his facial expressions show. Add this to the “confusing double talk”, with his strange, stilted, Baptise Minister cadence it is very hard to listen to him. The logical mind simply rejects him. For example when talking about the Shooting in Sask. He can hardly stop smiling. Pause at 00:15. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6icBu2ODE4 The strangest is the shameful mouth and the smiling eyes. Look at the picture of him in the header of this page.
