Trudeaus let go of ONE taxpayer-funded nanny, but you're still paying for the other

StaffRebel Columnist

After much controversy over having two taxpayer-funded nannies costing over $100K a year, Justin Trudeau and his wife have let go of just one.

Marilou Trayvilla, the nanny will be let go on July 1 according to reports. However, the other nanny remains part of the residence staff and will continue to be pay for by taxpayers.

While the Trudeaus will be hiring a new nanny and paying for her themselves, it's uncertain why Trayvilla wasn't simply rehired.

When news of the taxpayer-funded nannies first broke, The Rebel set up a petition calling on Trudeau to pay for his own nannies.

If you think both nannies should be paid for by Trudeau himself, and haven't signed the petition yet, you can do so here.

I’m assuming he will be hiring a muslim in order to showcase his moral superiority. What happened in Moscow with the nanny who beheaded a 6 year old charge was just a mental imbalance. Nothing to fear.

Maybe they were watching Jeopardy and he got insanely jealous when she was able to answer one of the questions.

Maybe she asked him a REAL question and being without a teleprompter he felt like the dumbass he is.

So how much severance pay did she get? Maybe she’s the future minister of nannies who knows, don’t think anything at face value when it comes to this pair

Probably could not convince her to vote mindlessly for the Liebranos!

He is probably firibng her because he does not want to pay the high salary that he made the government pay on his behalf. It would not surprise me if he hired someone under yhr temporary worker program as he has done in the past.

They can’t run a functional family without burdening taxpayers, but he can run the country?

Uh huh. Right.

His wife should be looking after their children, not the taxpayers.

He should be forced to pay for his own childcare costs. He makes more than enough money! I just wonder what else we are paying for that shouldn’t be the taxpayers burden?
