Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid got cross-checked by progressives over his Halloween costume when he and his girlfriend dressed up as Donald Trump and wife Melania.
Even if Trump was the second coming of Genghis Khan, how does dressing as a villain make the person donning the costume villainous?
And if dressing up as Trump is verboten, then why can lefty nutbars do it, as some did in February when a group in Toronto calling themselves the “Peeved Beavers” donned Trump wigs to protest The Bay for selling Ivanka Trump designer dresses?
The rule seems to be that it’s only socially acceptable to don a Trump costume to mock the President.
Once again, hypocritical progressives seem to be making up the rules as they go when it comes to freedom of expression.
