Trump makes the music industry great again — but will celebrities praise him for it?

Amanda HeadRebel Contributor

Trump is making the music industry great again by signing legislation that rights a wrong that should have been fixed long ago.

The Music Modernization Act reformats the compensation structure for recording artists and musicians to account for digital streaming, so Trump is taking the opportunity to ensure that they are treated fairly now.

But will celebrities praise him for it? Doubtful.

Nicholas Conklin the few times i have listened to a streaming service i found the music to be of lower quality, i personally have all the tunes i want on my desktop and in my truck they are all on a USB stick so i have no use for such a service myself.

Nicholas Conklin they should get some money but not the same as someone buying a permanent copy. Or how about they start their own streaming site like you suggest for conservatives about Twitter and Facebook?

It doesn’t really fix anything. It’s a step in the right direction, but artists are still being paid next to nothing when it comes to streaming.
