Trump takes action to halt Saudi terror financing

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, columnist David Goldman joined me to discuss Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman's efforts to halt the flow of Saudi money to Islamists abroad.

With China and Russia increasing their presence in the Middle East, the Saudi Crown Prince (assisted by the United States) is working to halt the flow of money to Sunni Muslim extremists in those countries. The move comes at a time when the Crown Prince is attempting to consolidate his power domestically and mend relations with regional powers.

I worry that these efforts will fail the same way attempts to combat Saudi Islamists have failed in the sixteen years since 9/11

Ian Foulds Egypt shares the embargo and Israel has more Pals and more open borders than Lebanon or Egypt. Try going there and see for yourself.

THere’s a lot more to Trump’s interest in Saudi terror funding than the MSM is willing to talk about – it leads back to the Las Vegas shootings

@Foulds . . . put down the “Protocols” man . . . you sound like a 1930s European leftist !

Israels neighbors? You mean the ones that attacked in 1948? Or are you thinking of the hapless so-called Palestinians, who teach their children to HATE before they can walk?

“When Israel was established in 1948 the first act of the Arabs was to invade the nascent state in a multi-force war of aggression. One consequence was the expulsion and murder of Jews by the Jordanians in Gush Etzion, Kalya and other places. The ethnic cleansing of Jews by murder and expulsion from the Old City of Jerusalem added to the destruction of all its synagogues by the Arab Legion remains a scar on our collective memory.

No Jews remained in Judea & Samaria, called the West Bank by the occupying Jordanians, or in east Jerusalem. It was ethnically cleansed and the United Nations had little concern.

Jordan occupied territory captured from the newly-born Israel from 1948 until they lost another aggressive war in 1967. Nothing was said in the United Nations. No outcry from Palestinian supporters because there weren’t any. No Palestinian leaders pressed claims of Jordan illegally occupying Palestinian land because there weren’t any Palestinian leaders and there wasn’t any Palestine to lobby for."

Since 9/11 – IN THE NAME OF ISLAM (SATAN): 34,386 Attacks, 222,504 Killed, 303,000 Injured that we know of. Those are verifiable hard numbers, and the numbers don’t lie. These are simple facts, Iain Foulds, and if you can’t see that those numbers indicates there’s a serious problem with Islam, you’ve got your head stuck so far up your ass you can probably see you back molars. Israel is the only country in the middle east that doesn’t discriminate based on religion, ethnic origin or sexual orientation. All citizens, be they Jewish, Christian or Muslim, are equal under Israeli law. Try that in Iraq, Iran or Saudi Arabia. Yes, you certainly come across as antisemitic.

Iain; Your your historical perspective is lacking. None " question the actions of Israel" more than their own provincial fifth columnists. Questioning and making things up are not the same. Catch up Iain.

… Terry: Must just be bad luck that all of Israel’s neighbour have turned out to be evil “terrorists”. Maybe think about what you are believing.

… Terry: Well, someone had to bring up the timeless lie… that to question the actions of Israel is to be an anti-Semite. It’s a painfully dishonest and transparent lie, ultimately only discrediting the proponent.
… Joe: Fair enough. It is seeing the unfolding daily, one-sided pro-Israel columns that concern me. I’ve seen enough every day at the National Post.

Iain, the Iron Dome has been moved to the centre of Israel. Who is manipulating who? Nice neighborhood.

Iain, who holds the purse strings when it comes to military spending ? Israel or the U.S.? Who says no more building when your people are having babies? Who says stand down when your enemies are attacking?

Spreading lies about Jews is the most simple, if not textbook , definition of antisemitism.

Ian, you are displaying that age old malady when it comes to the idea of the Jews. Your internal gyroscope has a wobble.
I’m sure it will comfort you to know that Iran has been given the green light to move it’s forward position to within 10k’s of Israel instead of the normal 40 to 50 as agreed to by Bibi and Putin. This is a dissapointing stab in the back by the U.S. coming out of the China US Russia parlance. Smarten up.

Iain, why would supporting Israel in any way be a kind of propaganda??
commented 2017-11-21 12:18:40 -0500
… Dislike and distrust Ezra’s new ME focus. Believe that it is simply pro-Israeli propaganda.
… For generations, Israel has manipulated America into bullying it’s neighbours. And now, America has entwined Saudi to do the same.
… Rebel: Don’t start making me distrust you.
