How many of you took a moment to watch 12 Years a Slave or The Shape of Water again?

Recently the Oscars have been telling us which movies they want to become classics instead of the other way around.

"Superhero" movies are often looked down on and overlooked by critics. But, while it’s been a decade since The Dark Knight was released, the movie is slowly earning the title of “classic.”

People are watching it again, engaging in debates about it, and using it in lecture halls to cover deep ideas.

That’s because there’s something rare in The Dark Knight. It tells the truth.

Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker was the best ever. He embodied the insanity of evil. Christian Bale as the good guy walking a razors edge so he can combat evil without succumbing to it. Classic indeed.
