Those Germans love their carnivals. I mean, Oktoberfest — say no more, right?
WATCH and I'll show you some pictures from a German festival with four people dressed up wearing big disks around their waists.
And the sign, in German, says, "arms-length spacer, Cologne model." And you can see a pictogram that means, "don’t touch my butt."
You’ll recall that the mayor of Cologne, in the aftermath of 1,000 German women being groped, assaulted, robbed, and even raped on New Years Eve, held a press conference, after several days of covering up the mass assaults, where she had advice for German women: Don’t get within arm’s length of Muslim migrants.
I saw this tweet, and then I went back to it later. And Twitter had blocked the photo, with a message ,“The following media may contain sensitive material”.
It’s not a gory picture. It’s not a racist picture.
But Twitter and its new censorship committee has decided you can’t handle the picture. Because it’s Islamophobic.
