Meet the two men tipped to replace Theresa May

Jack BuckbyRebel Contributor

Theresa May narrowly survived an attempted coup over the weekend, when she met ministers and backbenchers at the Chequers estate.

May's 21-person Cabinet told her to resign, and she is reportedly considering the possibility of resigning in an attempt at getting more MPs on board with her deal. But it might not be enough.

Whatever happens, May will be on her way out soon.

If she leaves before the Brexit withdrawal proceedings have ended, then a caretaker Prime Minister could be installed, and it is likely going to be one of two men.

Today, I take a look at David Lidington and Michael Gove – the two Tory ministers who are tipped to replace Theresa May.

It’s not up to the Queen to intervene, for Chrisakes. This is the time for a MASSIVE and sustained protest from the Brexit crowd.

Keith, although the Queen does indeed have a Germanic heritage, she is very much British having been born in Britain and having served admirably as monarch since 1952. I do not accept your naked assertion that the Queen is pro EU because she has some German DNA. Indeed, the Royals cast their lot when they led Britain through two wars against Germany. I know that royal prerogative should be used sparingly, but this seems to be a time when it should be exercised as Parliament has become totally dysfunctional.

Gove is a little rat, when he was setting up Jonson for his stab in the back, he was a Brexiteer, now he has dumped Jonson and is kissing May’s butt, he is a staunch Remainer,

Robert, don’t forget, The Queen is a German and Prince Phillip is a Greek. British Royalty want to stay with the EU.

The Queen should step-up and honour the will of her people. Her Majesty’s government is incapable to exercising it’s duties as currently constituted. She should suspend Parliament and allow the hard Brexit to take place and let the voters sort it out later.
May should have listened to “The Donald”.
