UK: Boris Johnson’s burqa comments are a leadership bid

Jack BuckbyRebel Contributor

I don’t think Boris Johnson was being careless when he made his comments about burqas.

In fact, I think he was taking particular care to say something that sets him apart from the other politicians, but which doesn’t quite put him on the same level of Marine Le Pen or Geert Wilders.

Who knows when he’ll do it, but I think it was a smart move.

I don’t think he’ll be saving the country, though – don’t forget that it was the Tories who stepped up the crackdown on free speech, pushed the Islamophobia agenda, and introduced the Snooper’s Charter.

Keith Barnes, don’t be sorry, it’s refreshing to hear someone tell it the way it is. However, any left wing person watching this will quickly label this guy as being extreme right. If the truth is told & not sugared up, well of course you are extreme in their mind. The people in these countries keep voting these corrupt politicians in & then look to Canada amongst other nations to bail them out & like suckers, we do (well not us personally of course, but those bleeding heart politicians who hand out money like candy). Every time you hear of Trudeau handing out money it’s never for Canadians, but always for foreigners & how dare the military ask for some it. The government is not there to help those who go to work every day, pay taxes, they’re there to help those who do not want to help themselves & take advantage of taxpayers.

Yeah, spare me too already, he didn’t say anything that hasn’t been heard before. Besides, it’s the truth, what is stylish or fashionable about walking around with a piece of clothing that looks like a tent. They should be banned, period, because nobody knows who’s under that burka & what they might be carrying under it. In any public place, I would not feel safe & rightly so, we tell people to remove their caps in a restaurant, but burkas are still allowed? Give me a break.

And yet it is acceptable for Muslims to describe women in Western dress as sluts and whores solely for not being fully covered and allowing their hair to be seen publicly.

So mocking and insulting a woman with part of her legs exposed, wearing short or no sleeve tops, and uncovered hair is acceptable, but making a comment about Muslim women fully covered except for the eyes (or as some clerics insist, only one eye uncovered or demanding both eyes obscured with lace) is off base.

One law and standard for all, but a special law for Muslims. Has Britain and Europe really fallen that far?
