UK: Corbyn endorsed by Hamas

Jack BuckbyRebel Contributor

While Corbyn tries to wiggle his way out of an anti-semitism storm, Hamas just pledged their support for him.

After denying that he laid a wreath to Palestinian terrorists, Hamas has now come out in support of the Prime Minister. I guess that’s what you get for being friendly with terrorists!

In the UK, it remains to be seen whether Jeremy Corbyn (leader of the Opposition Labour Party) will have had his future election prospects harmed by being found out for an anti-Semite of the worst sort.
Evidence showing him as one of the wreath-layers at a function in Tunisia in 2013 in memory of the murderers who participated in the 1972 Olympics Massacre, and his friendliness with Hamas, will not dismay many of his supporters, for it is an important element of the baggage that the British orthodox left wing carries, that you must be an anti-Semite, and an anti-Israeli, pro-Palestinian agitator. Most of Corbyn’s support seems to come from this group.
That he is a proven anti-Semite will not trouble them in the least.
Of course, for social democrats who have no great liking for the exploitative nature of capitalism and corporatism, but who have conservative social instincts, and who are pro-Israeli and anti-Palestinian (people like myself), we have no political home.
