Last night was the long-awaited vote on the EU Withdrawal Bill. It was a mammoth voting session that many MPs were unhappy about.
I was expecting the worst, fearing that the government would face a defeat not just from Labour and the Lib Dems, but from rebels in its own party. Amazingly though, it didn’t happen. In fact, May won. She passed the legislation.
But many people have been left wondering:
What exactly did she promise the Remainers in order to achieve it? Everyone is a bit confused, so I’ve tried to decode it.
