Sajid Javid has replaced Amber Rudd as Home Secretary, and I’ve said from the start that he was almost certainly going to do a better job. I don’t say that because I admire him, but instead because Amber Rudd was particularly awful.
Amazingly, Javid has done something that consecutive Home Secretaries have failed to do. Well, at least he’s promised he will:
He is claiming that by the end of the year, he will have proscribed terror group Hezbollah entirely.
If he’s really committed to opposing Islamic terror, though, then I have a few more expectations...
