UK: Almost one in 10 London councillors linked to property industry — and possible corruption

Jack BuckbyRebel Contributor

An investigation by The Guardian – yes, The Guardian did something useful! – has just revealed that 100 London councillors have links to the property industry. Some are benefitting financially and some are receiving gifts from other development companies. This is serious corruption.

That’s one in 10 councillors in London having some connection to the housing and development industry – meanwhile, London suffers the biggest housing shortage and overpopulation problem this country has ever seen.

What does this tell us? Well, I think it’s pretty clear that we can no longer trust the big parties on ANYTHING.

“I used to DREAM of living in a corridor.” (Python). If I still had voting rights in the UK, I wouldn’t have a clue who I would vote for. Conservatives were supposed to execute the will of the people over Brexit and it looks as if they are going to fail. (Marxists) Labour politicians lie anyway so don’t deserve a vote. UKIP can’t make it’s mind up whether it is a true loyalist party or a bunch of wimps. Would I have had to vote for an also-ran party?

Pity, nobody from rebel media is talking about Municipal Councillors in Greater Vancouver region where 10 out of 10 are directly or indirectly associated with real estate industry & all either belong to NDP or are allied with its policy. No wonder they all are in favour of turning Lower Mainland into another Hong Kong, a satellite colony of People’s Republic of Communist China .
When citizens are left without any choice in politics democracy is defunct. Canada is no longer a democratic country.
