UK: Will the House of Lords overturn Brexit?

Jack BuckbyRebel Contributor

The House of Lords is expected to vote on the Brexit "EU Withdrawal Bill" within days — and one amendment could see the Lords voting for the UK to stay within the EU Customs Union.

Should that happen, it could trigger a new debate on House of Lords reform. Surely we can’t just let the Lords get away with stopping Brexit.

But I don’t think we should be looking at an elected House of Lords. I think, instead, turning back the clock and reinstating our hereditary peers could save Brexit and greatly improve government.

Jack Buckby is ill, but his eyeballs are alive and well. Good for him, and good for The Rebel for posting his video. They are not always going the same direction, but his eyeballs are a good reflection of conservative politics in Britain.

If they do, Great Britain will sink into chaos and who knows what comes out of it. Maybe something good, like the demise of this corrupt CINO government and a Trump-like revolution.

The House of Lords needs to be disbanded, they are nothing more than a bunch of doddering, unelected, old farts. PM Theresa May is the worst enemy, a ‘Remainer’ to the core. She is going against the will of the Majority, who voted to leave the EU.

It sounds like the will of the people is being thwarted. That would be a shame.
