UN e-cig agenda exposed

Lauren SouthernArchive

The World Health Organization continues to discuss their anti-tobacco and anti-e cigarette agenda in Delhi.

Today, they specifically discussed "gender and tobacco," something that is apparently relevant to the debate of taxation and regulation.

Whether they are focusing more on one gender or the next, I ultimately believe in saving lives. Which is why I find it confusing that the WHO organization touts their dedication to helping women quit cigarettes while simultaneously proposing bans on quitting mechanisms such as e-cigarettes, and the flavors that make them appealing to females.

I figured I would ask them this question about their suggested bans.

Their answer? Watch to find out!

So she would get rid of the Nicotine patch and Nicorette gum?

It would appear the anti tobacco people at the UN are actually working for big tobacco. Canada should just drop the UN, it’s a criminal organization.

Noticed typo -

Should read:
That seems to be of a bigger concern than what you posted.

Good try there Timmy. Posted on the Weather Network means it is so scientific, cannot refute it lol. Get a grip. You want to stress relevance (cause and effect) then post a link to a specific medical journal not a technology research group result.

""How these flavoring compounds in e-cigarette liquids affect the chemical composition and toxicity of the vapor that e-cigarettes produce is practically unknown," Andrey Khylstov, associate research professor of atmospheric sciences at DRI, in a statement."

That article ends with:
“Related Story: Eating healthy local food this winter, is easier than you think”

Definitely amusing though. Funny how you missed this link, to the right of the article:

That seems to be of a bigger concern that what you posted. Work for the UN or is this Liberal damage control?

If she is a tobacco control advocate, then she should know about cessation incentives and options.
She is uneducated on the subject.
What she has to say is redundant.
Therefore, why is she even there?

The unified official bureaucratic resistance to vaping would make you suspect these people are working in the interests of the tobacco industry from which they derive billions in tax every year, you don’t want to kill a cash cow with a better alternative
commented 2016-11-11 19:10:03 -0500
So in her own words the U.N. person says “I am not an expert in cessation alternatives” but she is prepared to tell people what they can and cannot do to quite smoking?

There is NO advertising whatsoever in Canada allowed, advertising was banned years ago. Actual tobacco products in Canada are kept hidden behind a closed cupboard at all times in all stores, you must ask what products they carry for nothing is displayed. In drugstores cessation products are on the shelves but all in non-gender specific packaging, you would not even know they were cessation products unless you picked up the package and read them – no advertising. To my knowledge all western countries jumped on that band wagon years ago.

From day one they (UN) have shown they have an agenda – lies, deception, blocking reporters. What is very disturbing is that the Canadian Liberal delegates are OK with this.

Lauren kept her cool, totally amazing. I would have been hard pressed not to laugh in that woman’s face. I would have demanded she explain exactly where this alleged advertising originated from or was in use (what specific country/city/store), asked her to produce actual samples of these alleged packaging and advertising targeting women to prove their claim. I, no doubt, would have been shown the door rudely.

Hey Lauren, I made the switch to an E-cig over 2 years ago and have not had a regular cigarette since. I began using a liquid with 18mg of nicotine, and have reduced that to 6, and hope to get to 0 very soon. The flavoured liquids have helped ween me off of the nicotine. Nicotine for e-cig use is extracted from a variant of a tobacco plant, but not the same as that used for making cigarettes. It is a stretch to think that they should be regulated the same.

It’s impossible to come to any intelligent conclusions on vaping (or tobacco for that matter) when they ban the industry experts from the proceedings. It was telling they suspected you were n interloper, because no UN vetted media would ask such hard questions that expose their intrinsic vacuity.

What I see here is what the more oppressed and destitute people of the planet witness in their own countries – that being: the clucking of clueless bureaucratic fools on central planning committees who must obfuscate and virtue-pose to hide their ineptitude and detachment from the masses whose lives they presume to control. This is nothing but a typical soviet one sided debate. UN monoculture in the flesh.

The air in there must have been thicker and more toxic than the smog outside Lauren because nothing makes you sicker than the rancid smell of hypocritical sanctimony.

Typical Phonies trying to sound concerned – yet are too stupid to realize no-one gives a crap about their high paid excursion on tax payers $$. Just another UN Fraud! Where these numb-sculls in the least concerned about the smoke in their atmosphere?? Maybe if any true concern for peoples’ health were present at the UN – maybe they ought to look at the ISIS terrorist problem or the problem of mass stupidity being proclaimed as gospel truth.

Not knowing enough to take well thought of decicisions is not an exuse to enforce stupid decicisions
