"Anti-human activists": Here's what the UN gets wrong about discredited "overpopulation" crisis

Brian LilleyArchive

When UN climate change bureaucrat Christina Figueres claimed the world has too many people and we need to shrink population, The Rebel called her out on it.

She tried to duck and hide but we bring you the truth about her words, what they mean and the truth about whether there really are too many people on the planet.

All this stuff gets all the play and is streamed into peoples living rooms, via, cbc, ctv, global. It is all the masses get. Its dirty pool. Yes we have the internet, but most people are busy trying to make a living, feed their kids, to really be informed. This is taken advantage of. And the bottom feeders, pick up what ever looks easiest. You know who you are. Is it any wonder SunNews is not being watched in peoples living rooms.

Another angry UN tyrant, guess she belongs on Canadian anti human rights cartel.

Watch the documentary, “Demographic Winter”, on Youtube, to learn the real facts. People like this woman are dumber than…
How do they manage to get such high profile and high paying positions, when they are this ignorant? Who’s responsible for hiring her?

According to my Bible, the day is soon coming when people like this will become ashes upon the ground.

UN has to be the most useless organisation on earth right now. They have lost site of there mission and common sense since many years. Who really needs them? What is the Mission? Where are the success stories?

Raise the peoples standard of living and their population will decrease just as it has in the Industrialized Nations.

Is that Fagette Wynne standing next to her?

Maybe that’s why they’re pushing the homosexual agenda…Turn the children into minifagets and stop reproduction!

And before Israel became a nation, the land was barren, and empty, and basically a desert. Unfit for habitation. Sound familiar to other areas on the planet we read about? Well, what did the Israelis do? They irrigated, they planted, they cultivated, they came up with new ways of doing things — and look at Israel now! Blooming in the middle of surrounding desert!

This CAN be done elsewhere. The Dutch showed us land reclamation techniques. Heck, even the Mennonites in Manitoba and Ukraine took swampland and made it fertile farmland.

Is the planet overpopulated? Possibly. But these claims of overpopulation leading to starvation were started DECADES ago… we’re still here. There’s been no massive die-off because of starvation. So where does this starvation come from that we see from the UN and UNICEF and such? (Remember “We Are The World” from the mid 80s?) Mostly it’s political in nature. There is some to do with climate, but it’s surprisingly a small percentage. Why are Somalis starving? Or remember the Ethiopians? What about all the people living in refugee camps? Most of the time this “starvation” is due to lack of agriculture, which itself is due to military incursions — read “terrorists” or “tribal warlords”, depending on your area. We have, in times past, responded to such cries with planeloads of foodstuffs… most of which never reached the intended people. Why? The warlords or such leaders confiscated it for their own purposes, to feed their own “army”. This has happened all to often in a number of areas in Africa, but I’m not picking on Africa in particular.

These are facts, verifiable. That the UN chooses to turn a blind eye to such causes says more about THEIR political agenda… but we already know about that. There are ways to alleviate all the “starvation” in the world, and ways to make areas of little agriculture more productive. But that would mean that certain groups lay down their arms and give up their “aggressive” ways (like THAT’S gonna happen), and it would mean that politics would have to take a back seat (again, like THAT is going to happen…)

I sincerely hope that these people who plan to eliminate large percentages of our population volunteer to go first… but of course they plan for OTHER people, never themselves… And they will get their wish; but not in any way they want! We will lose 3/4 of our population worldwide, but I honestly wouldn’t wish it on anybody!

I see nothing wrong with this claim of too many people. I too think too many people in the world today but if we’re going to be doing anything about it let’s not look within where our national average birth rate is 1.5 kids per family. Maybe it’s best/more accurate to say too many places in the world that are over populated.

Christina has a deep admiration for communist China, claiming that communism is the best way to fight global warming, is she reading the same books as Justin? Wendy Mesley acted like she was speaking to royalty as they both chastised Stephen Harper for not obeying her and the UN.(although she has hopes he will in the future)

Is it that the planet can’t produce enough food for the growing numbers or are there other factors which lead to hunger in the world. Nobody said there wasn’t hunger in the world, but that doesn’t mean its cause is an over burdened planet as Christina Figuerres declares. Focusing on how to address those problems is at least as important as contraception. Plus it is suicide for North America to stop having babies when the “uncontrolled breeding” comes mostly from Muslim counties. I say have more babies! If she bases her statement that the world can’t sustain the pop. as it exists today, on hunger and poverty stats, then somebody should tell her she is wrong. There are enough resources, the planet can produce enough food. Why isn’t everyone taken care of then ?, you tell me Christina.

Reminds me of what Scrooge said in A Christmas Carol
“Scrooge: I wish to be left alone, sir! That is what I wish! I don’t make myself merry at Christmas and I cannot afford to make idle people merry. I have been forced to support the establishments I have mentioned through taxation and God knows they cost more than they’re worth. Those who are badly off must go there.
2nd Portly Gentleman: Many would rather die than go there.
Scrooge: If they’d rather die, then they had better do it and decrease the surplus population. Good night, gentlemen.”

By the looks of Christina Figueres we certainly had nothing to worry about her over populating the planet. People who believe these myths like over population are usually like this disgruntled UN worker who went to university and listened attentively to whatever their enlightened professor had to say without ever questioning it. Throw out some bogus statistics and a few long words and everybody will believe it. Go back to your satanic cult with your demonic looking head Christina. We aren’t buying it. Although I do agree that we could reduce the population by getting rid of her and that should pretty well do it. Problem solved.

For anyone who doesn’t know about Agenda 21: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agenda_21

Of course, as it is a voluntarily implemented initiative, in so far as anything is voluntary, rogue states like IS will never comply.

Eileen, colonizing Mars is just a first step. The sun is not going to expire that soon. They are working on science to speed up travel to other planets circling other stars.

But yeah, in the meantime, there is Agenda 21. Little boxes on the hillside.
commented 2015-04-20 10:45:01 -0400
If our sun is dying, colonizing Mars would be useless as it shares the same solar system as Earth. Hence, it, too, would lose its sun. Agenda 21 of the United Nations!

Bill Crunkhorn – Nice to see you slummimg on therebel. I guess. Anyone who has children has sinned. Well, it’s true. In a sense. No life is without suffering. I suspect the increasing social meanness and war is not due to technology at all but to increasing world population. So in that sense, it most certainly is about killing and genocide. If IS gets its way, the Earth will be populated by, say, 2-3 billion faithful soon enough. But killing and other forms of exclusion are not the answer. We know the more educated have fewer children so maybe education is not a bad idea but that just means IS or some similar government will have its way sooner than later by simple attrition aided by genocide of superior cultures. You know, because they conceive more than we do and enjoy killing the rest of us. Sigh. And how to enforce birth control except with murder? In a world in which all societies consider freaks those of us who intentionally choose to have no children because a) our DNA is adequately represented in the gene pool already and b) because – what’s the point?, no one can expect the brightest among us who get it to voluntarily sacrifice ourselves to the life of being a selfless social pariah. Having children assures one social inclusion, more or less. It’s selfish but there you have it. The human animal, cute little moron that it is. We aren’t in control. Let it go, folks.

Brian is usually pretty good, but this is crap. Of course the world is over-populated, this lady is quite correct. We will have more famines, children who should never have existed will die horrible deaths. It is folly to assume that science will always come up with the answer and feed an expanding population, soon enough, we will not, and the 3.1 million children who die each year will seem like a pleasant memory. Here’s the world’s hunger statistics for those interested: http://www.wfp.org/hunger/stats To anyone who thinks this is about killing people off, please grow up. Population control is about contraception. Note that the folks doing the most uncontrolled breeding are Muslim: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslim_population_growth

These disgusting euro-socialists are just repackaged royalty from centuries before. This Christina Figueres, throw up from latin America, is the front mouth piece for a failing Europe. It will be enjoyable to watch Europe collapse financially and we can put an end to these “make work” idiots like Christina Figueres – they’ll have to go out and find a real job.

There are 4 BILLION IN ASIA – go fix that first Christina Figueres before you puke your stupidity about the rest of the world.

“You Guys” was addressed to “to whom it may concern”.
“What do vegetarians have to do with the article”

Well, thanks to that question of yours and the responses it stirred, I’d say more now than they did before.
commented 2015-04-20 06:55:55 -0400
Vegetarianism is not synonymous with socialism nor is it the issue. John Baird is vegetarian and hardly socialist.

Science tells us that, eventually, our sun will die and with it, life on earth. Hence, our fledging efforts to colonize Mars, all the dollars spent on space science, and the low prioritizing of fixing Earth.

The world is at war, as it has been, on and off, forever. It is the nature of change. Humans may be at the top of the food chain but we aren’t in control. Our existence is fragile. All of us, including the wealthiest and most powerful. We need to concentrate on inclusion, on increasing our kindness and compassion for all that is, and leave the culling to whatever mysterious God is greater than we.

This from the useless nations (of islamic states) is just ANOTHER one of their ways to hold the world hostage to their demands, governments from all over will cave to this nonsense and contribute $BILLION$ to “study and implement”…

Let’s us all hope justa “empty vessel” turdo and “stompin mad thomas” muc-a-luc are “deep six’ed” by this point and we still have a government (Federal at least!) that has some balls to stand up to this BS…
BOTH (turd and muc) would sell out Canada in a heartbeat to the useless nations.

A larger human population is not the problem, it’s the solution. The division of labor among a larger population will lead to a better life for all. China and India are in the process of proving this. And there’s no evidence that we are running out of resources.

Actually Christina Figuerres is really the one who invented the computer…not Al Gore, silly! Hey Brian… I am all for moving to Texas…better climate…but be prepared, it might get a bit crowded if we all go there, and how on Earth are we all going to get along when we can’t manage to get along with the space we have, even on this post as I read the major hostilities below!…and what would we do with Stephen, Thomas and Justin—-replace them with Obama, or Kim Jong un or Ahmadinejad…or…?…oh well…it was a nice brief thought! Could we try global warming instead , I am sick of winter, and spreading the population out a bit more…I want 100 acres please with a house and a donkey?
