Unifor adopts anti-Israel BDS policy. Will Notley call them “racists”?

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

Canada's largest private-sector union, Unifor, has adopted a boycott divestment and sanctions or BDS policy against Israel.

The resolution was submitted by a union local representing Oshawa GM workers. It called on Unifor to support the BDS movement against the Jewish state until such a time when Israel implements a permanent ban on further settlement construction in the occupied territories and establishes a viable Palestinian state.

Basically the BDS movement is “a boycott Jews” movement, old fashioned anti-Semitism by a catchy new Orwellian name.

And that's why I think it's so appalling that someone like Premier Rachel Notley would freely speak at a Unifor conference last year.

Unifor’s official BDS policy wasn't adopted until just this past August but in 2015, several unions including Unifor, as part of the Canadian Labour Council, endorsed a letter criticizing Stephen Harper's federal government for standing against BDS.

The NDP are so quick to call anyone on the right a racist, especially us at the Rebel.

But I'm not supporting or a member of any organizations that boycott Jewish companies.

Can the NDP say the same?

Why do I find it so difficult to comment or even sign on. I am a member for years,so you must have my particulars. If not what do I need to do to get aboard? I think much of the comment is paranoid!

Philip, you have a very profound lack of understanding as to what Jews, Israel, anti-Semitism and BDS are.
1. BDS…. Look at their official website in Arabic, and see what they really are all about. One could say the same about other alt-left initiatives from antifa to blm… on the surface, their names might imply piousness, but in reality, nefariousness.
2. Anti-Semitism. I’ve seen hundreds of people like you.. objecting to a specific word for a specific type of hate… Again, reality trumps your feelings. Wishing death to the one and only nation state of the Jewish People is inherently anti-Semitic.
3. Israel / Jews… modern Israel can be traced from the Egyptian papers to Belfour to St Remo to the League of Nations…. dozens of countries in North Africa and the Middle East were formed in the exact same way.. and not all ethnicities’ aspirations were fulfilled, not the Berber, Kurds and many others. However, Israel was the only nation created post-Ottoman as a “Homeland for the Jewish People”.. the qualification is to be a person and to be Jewish.. this includes converts… not a matter of DNA. You might not like it, however, nothing has abrogated the binding L.o.N ruling.
I’d strongly advise you to examine your biases vis-a-vis your misinformed opinions… They are connected.

I think it’s apparent that people who are morally bankrupt and intellectually challenged are the ones who generally fall prey to the mistaken beliefs in racism and anti-Semitism – like many on the left – as (non-revisionist) history proves.
As offensive and unsettling as this news is SHEILA GUNN REID, it is not at all surprising…

I admit my comment may have been influenced by the fact that I’m presently reading Dinesh D’Souza’s, “THE BIG LIE: Exposing the NAZI Roots of the American Left”

https://www.therebel.media/gavin_mcinnes_august_11_2017
“…After completely destroying the race card for liberals with Hillary’s America, Dinesh D’Souza is back to take away their Nazi card, with The Big Lie. In this new book, D’Souza explains that if anyone is a brownshirt today, it’s the left.
From Antifa to the DNC to Justin Trudeau, the modern left is about punishing those who commit thought crimes. The Nazis burned books and the leftists take down statues….”

Philip what claim do Muslims have to any country in the middle east other than a part of Saudi Arabia?

Philip feel free to quit using microchips and many medical advances then.

Philip Jarman sorry but your hate filled BS does not matter to us. And their are no inhuman policies you bigot, they defend themselves against terrorists who have no claim to the land at all. Now please try some reality.

BDS has nothing to do with antisemitism, nothing to do with race. That’s “sand” thrown in the air by people who wish to make the world believe that any rational opposition to the policies of the state of Israel are antisemitic or based on race. The issues here are the policies of Zionism , a political philosophy that seeks to extend the “exceptionalism” of the ancient nation of Israel under God . it seems the only way to curb the excesses of Zionism is economics. The charge of antisemitism is the first line of defense for Zionists for they need the history of persecution (true enough) to justify present day Israel’s inhuman policies to those who rightfully resist the theft of their land. Note that many members of the Jewish religion world wide join us other millions in opposing the brutal policies of Israel towards its majority original inhabitants . Finally no so called Jewish person can authentically claim DNA with Abraham or for that matter the 1st century Pharisees, so the card claiming ancient historical ownership by present day Israel is not on the table. Zionists are therefore clever thieves with a good story.

All you need to do is a little old fashioned research to become pro-Israel. Palestine has never been a country or a people, just a region populated by muslims, jews, and christians which happened to be the same region where all the Jewish / Christian holy cities are located.

There’s so much history and back story to that whole mess, it’s easier to just blindly pick a side. Since it’s illegal to oppose anything that has to do with muslims, because islamophobia, obviously the only natural conclusion is to be anti-Israel. Because it’s perfectly legal to be anti-Jew.

Under the new rules, as long as the Antisemitism is directed towards white-skinned Jews I’m pretty sure it isn’t considered racist. As we know, there aren’t many of that profile in Israel so yes, Unifor are racist Nazi’s and Notley is a Nazi supporter… Like Hansi, the girl who loved the swastika

All unions are being used to funnel money for the Marxist take over of the west, aided and abetted by all levels of government. It’s how Harper was defeated!

I do not need any UNION GOONS advice.
commented 2017-09-08 01:26:13 -0400
So these unions will be giving up using computer technology designed by Israel then?
commented 2017-09-08 01:11:05 -0400
Why don’t unions STFU and just represent their workers.

WTF does Isreaeli boyotts have to do with enhancing the workplace safety and security of Unifor workers? – NOTHING!

Just an indicator that degenerate Marxist parasites have infected a working man’s bargaining function and turned it into a vehicle to propel anti-Semitic bolshie degeneracy.

Of course Notley will capitulate, these are her kind of people.

Can you imagine if a union tried to move in on the rebel?

Our little communist thinks she can do and say whatever she wants, and get away with it. I can’t wait until we give her the boot into the dust bin of history.

Unifor position is disgraceful, Notley will not denounce this – she too is an absolute disgrace!
commented 2017-09-07 17:48:59 -0400
Of course Notley is in support of the Unifor policy. She is a socialist. Socialists are anti-Semites. Therefore Notley is an anti-Semite. I would be interested to know what sort of anti-Semitic hatred her fellow caucus socialists who were teachers espoused to students. Eggan must have been a real gem.
