I’m heading to my the fourth year as a university student. I’ve seen firsthand what ideologically motivated students and professors will do to push their narrative.
I’ve seen campus clubs get their club status revoked for purely ideological reasons like the Men’s Rights Group at Ryerson. The student union banned them claiming these groups harass women when they have no evidence.
I’ve seen speakers “no-platformed,” like at McMaster University where a pro-life activist and mother simply wanted to show what an abortion looked like at a presentation, and students retaliated by playing loud music, shooting Silly String, picking fights with the spectators and the police.
The university is twisting his arm, and, because Bill C-16 was just passed by a Liberal government, it also has a legal excuse to force him to talk like they do.
Jordan Peterson stands up for everyone’s freedom of speech and expression— and I’m proud to be on his side.
I’m not with the Liberal government. I’m not with anyone who advocates for violence of any kind (government silencing or otherwise). I’m also not with the LGBT or Black Lives Matter.
I’m with freedom and whoever infringes upon anyone’s freedom is my intellectual enemy.
Hey, universities, Liberal government, political leftist movements and organizations:Let’s debate!
Let’s have an honest, intellectual conversation about differing opinions on campus and beyond.
Let’s not devolve to censorship and infringing people’s free speech rights. We’re better than that!
