Unlike Obama, Putin is in Syria to win. Here's how he'll do it

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

According to some reports, Russian fighter jets have just wiped out the so-called "moderates" in Syria that Obama has been arming.

Russia has long had a port in Tartus, Syria, one of great strategic importance.

No wonder Putin has been pouring equipment and personnel into the country.

Putin is determined to destroy ISIS and anti-Assad militants, and he's told Obama to stay out of his way.

So what should the U.S. -- and Canada -- do?

I don't like Assad. He's a tyrant who's said to have used chemical weapons on his own people. But within a year, if Putin stays on course, Russia could very well wipe out ISIS.

That's because Russians fight differently than we do. They always have...

Answer the damn question. Do you support funding “moderate rebels” to overthrow Assad? Yes… or No…???
commented 2015-10-01 22:13:09 -0400
I support closing all Saudi embassies, ending all ties with those Wahabbi towelheads. No support for Saudis and weapons, I wanna see Saudis out of here and Canadians armed to protect against the terrorist garbage they unleash in our country.

On the important things, taxes for Islamic extremists, or sorry, “moderate rebels”… Refusal to allow Canadians to concealed carry for self-defense… Promises to import thousands of radical sunni militants, or sorry, “refugees”… Claiming Canadians are “free” yet demanding property taxes be paid otherwise “private property” will be seized… All the parties agree. Any which way you vote come October 19th, you vote status quo… Unjust foreign intervention, Muslim infestation, the duty to be a victim in your own home, or wait, you don’t own a home, you just have permission to use it if you pay your rent to the feudal masters.

Oh Canada
Our broken, Godless land
True indifference, obeying all commands
With wicked hearts we see demise
The Truth slain and buried

Bottom line is the jihadi “moderate rebels” are about to have Russian Justice catch up with them. I will sleep like a baby knowing these pieces of garbage our leaders strengthened will be sent to meet their seventy some-odd virgins very soon.

That takes care of the throat-slitters in the Middle East. Now let’s see something done about the government goons here who funded Sunni terrorist death-squads as they claimed Canadians can’t be trusted to conceal carry. Prison for these people, although if a death penalty existed here, it would be much more fitting for the Al-Qaeda funding traitors.

@ Garry Wood – I have no idea what your question to me is, or means.
commented 2015-10-01 21:46:42 -0400
Garry, you’ve listed off a bunch of countries our occupied governments have helped to overthrow, then asked why Russia is not helping them.

Here’s a question, why have we not helped these countries? Why have we sent jihadi mercenaries in and fomented bogus revolutions? How is any of this mess, including Syria, Russia’s responsibility to fix?

We oughta be glad Russia is willing to pick up the pieces our puppet leaders have broke in Syria, even if it is to solely protect their financial interests there.

Before you go looking for where’s Russia in a bunch of countries we’ve destroyed, a better pursuit would be to find your shift key and a spell check of some sort.

keith-Islam will take over Europe without violent force within a few decades, said Libyan Leader Moammar Gadhafi in a speech aired on the Arab satellite network Al Jazeera.

“We have 50 million Muslims in Europe,” Gadhafi said. “There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe – without swords, without guns, without conquests. The 50 million Muslims of Europe will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades.”

If Turkey is added to the European Union, the Libyan leader said, Europe will have another 50 million Muslims.

Albania, a Muslim-majority country, and Bosnia, which is half Muslim, also appear to be on their way to EU membership.

“Europe is in a predicament, and so is America,” Gadhafi said. “They should agree to become Islamic in the course of time, or else declare war on the Muslims.”

Excerpts of Gadhafi’s speech, broadcast April 10, were translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI. A video clip of the speech can by viewed online.

Gadhafi emphasized Muslims view Muhammad the prophet not only of the Arabs or Muslims but “of all people.”

“He superseded all previous religions,” Gadhafi said. “If Jesus were alive when Muhammad was sent, he would have followed him. All people must be Muslims.”

He said Christians believe Muhammad is not their prophet because their holy texts “are forged and call for hatred.”

“The so-called Old Testament and New Testament are neither Old Testament nor New Testament – because both testaments were superseded, and they are forged,” he said. “They were written by hand hundreds of years after Jesus.”

Gadhafi continued: “In the Bible there are things that are inappropriate for both Jesus and Moses. If we want to mend the state of humanity, and live in a global village, because of the globalization, we must search for the true Bible, because the Bible that exists today is a forgery. Today’s Bible does not mention Muhammad, whereas our Lord’s Bible mentions Muhammad repeatedly.”

Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin reported in December 2003 Gadhafi provided al-Qaida with chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction before changing heart and agreeing to destroy his arms program.

keith Yes, there are 44 million Muslims in Europe, but most of them are in Russia (about 18 million) and have been there for centuries. The statistics show that yes, there will be growth in the Muslim population in Europe, but they still represent a small fraction (about 4% of the European population). In general, the Muslim population is growing at 1.5% globally, vs 0.7% for non-Muslims.

Here’s the key quote from the document:
In Europe as a whole, the Muslim share of the population is expected to grow by nearly one-third over the next 20 years, rising from 6% of the region’s inhabitants in 2010 to 8% in 2030. In absolute numbers, Europe’s Muslim population is projected to grow from 44.1 million in 2010 to 58.2 million in 2030.
I’m not seeing the change from 6% to 8% to have any major sociological impacts in and of itself.

@ Garry Wood – if Russia wins so does Assad – in my opinion we should have been backing him from the start.

The western powers have to submit their attack plans to the lawyers before they launch – Putin does not.

Making his forces far more effective in this situation.

However – the media will be spitting bullets at some of the things that will take place.

It is war – it is ugly – and Russia got its ass kicked in Afghanistan.

Putin does not want that to happen here – guarantee they will do the job and it will be bloody.

In all out war you cannot have it both ways – you either win or lose – unlike the US who refused to allow their soldiers win in Vietnam and in Afghanistan. If you simply beat them until they come to the table they will come back in ten years and fight again – as is now happening in Afghanistan.

This violence will spread to Europe – of that you can be certain. The illegal invasion is huge and many are looking to destroy the Euro way of life.

The point being is the Russians may be European, but are more Asian in outlook thanks to being subjected under the Mongols. They look East and understand the end-game; and play it hard. It does not matter if they are Imperialist, Soviet, or Democratic Federation, they play by Asia’s rules and that is end game…either win or lose so they play to win. Russia understands that ISIS is an end game. The West has not played end game since WWII, hence has abdicated the winners to the strong-men of Asia: Russia and China.

“Putin will get the job done, including making Obama look like the complete traitor that he is.” One has to wonder if any intelligence will come out of this linking Obama with ISIS and/or radical Islam. It is a given the Russians will play that card should the opportunity present itself. America will regret their infatuation with this narcissist President!

Garry,
Israel will not attack Iran, Israel will not attack any country. What Israel will do, is defend it’s self, with all it,s nuclear might. No they will not sht on their own doorstep but they also have a very strong conventional defense. Do not be surprised if you find Canada fighting along with them. The UK might even get involved. Remember PM Harper told Israel, " You Will Never Fight Alone". We are now into WW3.

I understand the mixed feelings. Putin ended the Chechen war, but in a very brutal way.

You must also take into account the ‘Total War’ ISIS is waging in the West. This latest shooting in Oregon may just be another dark reminder of such. 13 students dead, and ISIS is laughing about it. Still too early to be sure, but something really stinks about that one.

IMO the blame lies with Obama, and NATO for dragging their feet. Honestly, did they expect Putin to just sit this one out? The writing is all over the wall. A former friend of mine and I called this back in 2011. His quote was ‘America is funding terrorists again’. That rings disturbingly true apparently. Both of us are Afghan vets.

This is critical history being written and all signs point to us being the Axis this time. Our government better smarten up, or we are going to be in deep shit!
