The Christmas break can be a bit of a wasteland for actual news, but I really wanted you to know what we found in an exclusive access to information package related to Justin Trudeau’s growing fleet of taxpayer funded pleasure craft.
Those purchases included one 17 foot prospector canoe specifically in red, one flat water kayak and one river kayak, two paddleboards, a windsurfer, a sailboat, a pontoon boat, and a ski boat.
You’ll also see how much was spent satisfying Trudeau's aspirations to be a part-time farmer - $9K for an apiary set up, $6K for an organic garden, and $13.5K to build a fence to keep the deer out of his garden.
I’ll show you conversations among bureaucrats about building Trudeau a tree house with a zip line and a tree swing and how they spent $2K to improve the ice on his skating rink.
And, you’ll also see how bureaucrats worked to find free skates and snowshoes for Trudeau's family while at the same time, his Liberal government was eliminating the child Fitness Tax credit that would offset the cost of skates for the rest of us!
Believe it or not though, I'm not quite done with this access to information request.
On Monday I'm going to bring you a full accounting of Justin Trudeau's sauna at Harrington Lake.
