Lawyer John Carpay from the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms updates us on a story we've been following: A Christian group that's been denied a permit to hold a concert in Toronto's Yonge & Dundas Square.
Toronto bureaucrats claim the singing group performing during The Voice of the Nations' event is "proselytizing" through its song lyrics, and this activity is not permitted on city property.
However, other faith groups preach on and around the Square every day.
Carpay says this ban violates The Voice of the Nations' Charter Rights.
He and I talk about whether or not this situation is more proof of a growing anti-Christian attitude in Canada and the West.
TheRebel.media's readers and viewers have generously donated to the group's legal fund.
