UPDATE: Feed our Troops campaign concludes with good and bad news

David MenziesMission Specialist

The conclusion of our efforts to raise funds for military families at Canadian Forces Base Borden, has good news, and bad news.

The good news is, you all came through in support of the Rebel’s Feed Our Troops fundraising campaign.

We wanted to raise money for those members of Canadian Forces Base Borden who are in need. Our target goal was $10,000. But Rebel viewers contributed more than $15,000!

Thank you so much for your generosity!

The bad news? CFB Borden refused to accept your contributions!

We visited the base, but nobody at CFB Borden would accept the cheque – money that was earmarked for soldiers in need. But why?

How sad. As some soldiers and their family members must rely on charity to make ends meet, our Prime Minister has no problem turning ex-jihadis into multimillionaires.

What’s wrong with this picture?

Several great suggestions in the comments below.

David Menzies, please give us an update.
There is a regular Rebel poster by the name of Bravo Zulu who has recommended Vets Canada. Please see his post.
Another Rebel poster by the name of William Elder has also recommended this organization.

Send that cash to “Vets Canada” – this is a very responsible and honourable organization that supports veterans in distress.

I know because I work with them and I am helping two veterans right now.

Please donate there.

Perhaps a post-natal abortion on Space Moose?

Space Moose, what a moronic post!

Do a online poll…simply ask one question.
What should the Rebel do with the unwanted donation for the ungrateful Trudeau Military?
(1) Give the donation to the vets.
(2) Use the donation to build the war chest against lawfare suits.
(3) Use the donation for a billboard or truck campaign displaying what the corrupt liberals have done to our military.

Give the money to vets in need.

Give the money to planned parenthood.

Glenn Craig suggested the Legion, that’s not bad. Maybe the Invictus Games?

Sorry, the only face filmed was the person at the Military Family Resource Centre.

Tony Prudori, David started at the Military Family Resource Centre….then instructed to go to another building….go back and listen to the report, no faces filmed as I don’t think permission for an on-camera interview was given.

David, I would like the donation to go to a vets helping vets initiative, perhaps a street outreach program. I’m fine with my donation going to the charity which the majority of donors recommend. If we can’t reach a consensus soon, can Rebel hold this money in trust until we can find a solution in the New Year? A helping hand at Christmas is a wonderful idea; we are running out of time to give any charitable cause an opportunity to help vets this Christmas.

Sorry about the repeats. Posting the comment wasn’t working right.

Isn’t that a slap in the face. I wonder why they don’t want the donation?
Give the money to the vets (if even they would accept it) or like Rick P suggested give it to fight the cair lawyer who is trying to shut down the rebel and Canada in general.

Seems obvious the CAF brass have been primes from their Truedough overlords that they are an embarrassment and to never talk to media, particularly any media not on the govt. payroll. These jihadi Libs hate the military and it shows – kicking families out of base housing to move migrants in – disgusting.

If you want to park that donation where it will do the most good, give it to veteran Canada https://vetscanada.org/ who will use it to assist veterans who have been abandoned by their government.

Oh! Go back again and say the money is from the local Liberal riding – see if they take it then….
commented 2017-12-21 14:50:10 -0500
Give it to Vets – The National Council of Veteran Associations in Canada maybe?
commented 2017-12-21 14:35:09 -0500
Christmas turkeys were traditionally bought from the poppy fund…contact the local Legion Branch and offer the donation that way.

The Canadian Forces have been infected with Trudeaphobia! Perhaps, if contributors are willing, this money (or part thereof) can be used to fight the Islamic Lawyer suing the Rebel. Just a suggestion……………
