UPDATE: Liberals cancel soldiers’ danger pay, tax breaks — then blame Harper

Brian LilleyArchive

Justin Trudeau's Liberals have been caught taking back tax breaks offered to Canadian soldiers currently fighting ISIS.

After promising to fix it, the Liberals took the tax break away from more soldiers, and then blamed the Conservatives.

Watch as I explain why this is not the case.

Thanks, Leviticus.

I suspect we agree on a lot more items than we disagree. Like many military guys, I have a temper and sometimes speak (or type) before I think.

As for Tator Tot and his affirmative-action clown caucus, God help them if there ever is a civil war. Most army guys out here are good shots, own firearms, and know enough basic tactics to send crowds of BLM thugs, corrupt police, or Left-wing snowflakes running like the cowards they are. It doesn’t take much effective fire from a disciplined force to take the fight out of a mob.

When the time comes, all it will take to sweep away the corrupt commies, degenerates, layabouts, crooks and globalists is the right leader, whom the military will follow. Know why Rick Hillier was finally forced to step down as CDS? Because he actually had the respect and loyalty of the troops. That scared the hell out of the politicians and bureaucrats…

Dave T….
that is a good thing… Because when Civil War comes to this country and Trudeau pushes us closer to it every day that the military will be a hell of an ally on the sides of the citizens and we’ll all be shooting in the same direction… I know we’ve had our disagreements in the past but this is something we can agree on.
As far as I’m concerned everybody from the sergeant major and down to the bottom grunt’s should be tax-free at all times. The pittance they live on barely provides for the necessities of life while they are willing to give up their own.!!
What the hell do we have a foreign born to another country in charge of Canada’s military for anyway… I would see that as a conflict of interest.!!!!

Listening to Sajjan waffle and attempt to shift blame on this issue (and a myriad of other defense issues) is vomit-inducing. This POS owes his position to one thing, and one thing only – what he wears on his head. This so-called “bad-ass” is nothing but a sellout who drove a desk. F*** him.

No cost of living adjustments since 2009. No pay raise since 2013. “Op Honour” witch hunts and refusing to stand up for us while the Communist Broadcasting Corp paints us all as savages – thanks for throwing us under the bus you f***ing lickspittle!

Any senior officer who jumps ship to take a cushy gig with the traitorous Liberal party is dead to me – Sajjan, Leslie, Dallaire, Garneau – all of ’em.

Libs, you have no idea how much the average soldier, NCO, or junior officer hates you.

TruDope you are pissing with people who know how to use weapons!! You stupid inconsiderate POS! Is that why you are Allen Rocks knob gobbler?!? Your stupidity is going to be your demise!!!!
Leave Canada while you are able – the “farce” stay with you! Take that autistic wife & kids with you – you are no longer welcome in the civilized part of Canada.

The only one to blame is Stupid Trudeau who is spending so much he has to find new $$ somewhere……….and again the lower-class (there is no more middle-class in Canada) pays. You can’t touch the elite’s entitlement. And the Minister of Defence is beginning to sound more and more like Moncrief. (That girl who does not know where she was born)…….. He is way out of his league or he is selling is soul.

After the amount of money Trudeau has handed out to other countries and spent on the “Syrian refugees”, it’s a wonder he can spend anything at all on Canadians.

They needed to mix things up. You can’t blame global warming on everything. Our can you? Don’t worry POTUS, your time will come.

Justin doesn’t deserve to live under the freedom that was given to him from the blood of our finest. He should be charged with treason and sent to live in a sharia zone

The treatment of Canadian soldiers and veterans by most all governments throughout our history has been deplorable. Every citizen in this country should hang their heads in shame. Canada has one of the worst records in the developed world on its treatment of their armed forces. If you want to work in federal service, be a postal worker, you’ll get a hundred times better benefits than you will in our armed forces.

On one base in South Africa there is up to twelve shrinks posted there, in Canada there is only one in the whole damn country! ( that was 7 or 8 years ago).

Have you ever heard a government incentive program to hire ex-military personnel? I heard of some oil companies take it upon themselves to try to hire ex-soldiers.

Simple solution to all of this is just don’t join, because most Canadians don’t give a shit. Oh sure lots of people pretend they care, but it’s never a ballot box issue with Canadians even when we were in the middle of the afghan war and even now with the war on terrorism,(which btw, Trudeau hasn’t declared over yet)

Remember that every Liberal Member of Parliament strongly supports all of the Government’s actions and policies and lies — unless you know of one who has the integrity and loyalty to Canadians and Parliament to speak out and challenge what Dick Tater and his gang are doing.

To me it just looks like more Islamic appeasement. Don’t give our military any special incentive with extra pay to fight the islamic isis pigs. Our government needs to take them (isis and all terrorists) into our country alive to protect them, kiss their ass and pay them to freeload and populate their line of pigs to eventually overthrow our country from within. And while they’re here they can also do some terrorism and blow up some useless infidel Canadians, including children and babies.

Onewhen Civil War comes and it will it will be good to know that the soldiers will be on the sides of the people and not taking direction or orders from the government and everybody will be shooting in the same direction..
Keep it up Justin because in a roundabout way you are providing us with powerful allies.!!

well said Barnes , has any one else noticed the slime trial this pansy and his entourage leave behind them when he minces into a room to do a selfie or spew some more lies along with his cbc propaganda crew .

Canadian Soldiers putting their lives on the line for their Country, are being robbed by a Prime Minister/Imam, just to save the money that he needs to cover the costs of Welfare Payments paid to his Islamic friends, the very same people that out Soldiers are fighting.

Justin Trudeau needs to go back to school and upgrade from Substitute Drama Teacher to Full time Drama Teacher. I would then suggest that he retire from Politics, he is not really suited to being a Leader and it would extend his life expectancy considerably, being away from making all those decisions he has to makes and looses sleep over.

Poor Justin.

Oh well. With the exception of one old fellow who served in the RCAF during WWII, every other vet I know voted for Juthtin.

I’m not sure about how the feds determine danger pay, but if we’re talking about log wogs (rear echelon non-combat) individuals who are based in the UAE, I believe they should get some compensation as they are posted in countries inhabited by mohammedans who tend to be violent towards kufar. (infidels) I do not believe, however, that they should get the same compensation that CSOR (Canadian Special Operations Regiment), JTF2 (JOINT TASK FORCE 2 Canada’s top anti-terror unit) or line infantry units that are in a combat area. I’m an afghanistan vet and I don’t believe I’m the only one to have this opinion.

You know when a government has no policies based on the welfare of its electorate, but only has policies based upon its own self aggrandizement. It is when the government continues to blame previous governments for its own shortcomings.

The Lying Party of Corruption has been in power for sixteen months, which is ample time to say they are now fully operating on their policies, not hold over CPC policies. Sajjan has been the LPC defence minister all that time…what was he doing for 16 months, besides a photo-prop for Baby Doc at Remembrance Day? I think that after he made his 2016/12/01 statement he was reminded of the fact he was only appointed to be the chief Sikh photo prop, not to look out for the welfare of the troops; hence his stupid commons statement.

Back to blaming previous governments. Baby Doc is only following his Aunty Wynne’s footsteps, who is still blaming the Harris government for her shortcomings. The ultimate has to be Notley though, who constantly blames dead men for her blatant shortcomings and destructive policies.

Junior and his big brother Sacha would much rather get money to Hamas that to our military. Your tax dollars at work.
commented 2017-02-11 09:50:50 -0500
We tolerate the billion dollars of our tax money to the CBC, the Liberal Governments Propaganda and Misinformation Ministry (PAMM) at the expense of our soldiers.

We always get our priorities screwed up because we budget from one big pot. If Canadians were given the option to spend a billion on CBC or a billion on our soldiers and their equipment, which would they choose?
So lets get this straight. Young Canadian born kids join the military and get sent to Afghanistan or Syria. Young Afganis and Syrians of the same age come to Canada as refugees and get put on welfare and free medical coverage and let somebody else fight for their countries and culture. Isn’t that special.
World really is topsy turvy upside down. And isn’t that always true of these socialist Liberals.
commented 2017-02-11 09:28:44 -0500
This is only one of the reasons the military working stiff has always had a low opinion of the Def Min.

I might add this opinion was the same when he was IN the military.

He is not a bad ass he is simply an ass.

Always has been and always will be.

Trudeau your a joke.I have a idea send some of these Ontario hydro one executives over to work the electric grid in Afghanistan if it’s so safe. The money paid to them is a big insult and now you want to screw the soldiers like this.
commented 2017-02-11 08:56:15 -0500
There are people in the federal government who get danger pay bonuses for death threats over the phone. ISIS propaganda broadcasts would meet THAT criteria.
commented 2017-02-11 08:21:39 -0500
Of course they blame the Conservatives for the actions they do. The are LIEberals.

The Conservatives originally sent the soldiers in with the danger pay, so the Lieberals claim that it was Harper who sent them in initially without is a clear blatant lie.
