Judy White, the best thing to do is go to sites set up for Muslims re: Halal. I posted this last year and will re-post here.

There are various websites muslims use to verify if products are halal certified, I don’t see any reason why non-muslims should not consult these same sites to make informed choices and leave halal products at the store, instead of unwittingly supporting the scheme. Some products in mainstream grocery stores are clearly labelled halal certified, while others are not. It’s also a helpful tool which has pooled halal certified products in one place so that any non-muslim may write to these companies with their concerns regarding the certification and to inform them of a boycott of their brand & we object to sharia law being imposed on us. The companies may not be fully aware that all halal products require the monetary purchase of halal certification from a major Muslim entity – and some of that money inevitably supports terror efforts against the West; also, there are many products which require no certification at all, as they are already naturally halal for muslims, so why pay for certification in the first place!?

Some of the resources also include option to check if a food chain is halal certified.

Bravo Zulu, can you suggest how to find out which restaurants & fast food companies are ‘halal approved’? Are you aware of any sites which list them or would this designation tend to be advertised on a company’s website?

Every Canadian who buys halal approved foods pays a small tax to CAIR and the muslim brotherhood – so when you shop for food, cosmetics, and more………. and do not check labels you finance them – this is a world wide problem.

And be certain to avoid halal approved restaurants and fast food joints that are halal approved – Subway is one that comes to mind as I write. There are MANY others – do your research and then tell others. If you eat there you also provide financing for CAIR and the muslim brotherhood.

Maurice, can you e-mail David Menzies to let him know how you come up with your stats? His recent report quotes how many Islamic attacks have taken place since 911 and he is using as his source 32,994 attacks – quite horrific stats, and , lower than your numbers.
