At first blush, the stats in a recent report revealing that 960 Canadian Forces personnel said they were victims of sexual assault in the workplace last year seem shocking.
Forty-three thousand members of the regular and reserve forces responded to the survey conducted by Statistics Canada. It is indeed disturbing to think there were almost one thousand victims of sexual assault last year alone, but as always, the devil is in the details.
