Warriors, or social justice warriors? StatsCan report reveals dirty jokes “trigger” Canadian Forces members

David MenziesMission Specialist

At first blush, the stats in a recent report revealing that 960 Canadian Forces personnel said they were victims of sexual assault in the workplace last year seem shocking.

Forty-three thousand members of the regular and reserve forces responded to the survey conducted by Statistics Canada. It is indeed disturbing to think there were almost one thousand victims of sexual assault last year alone, but as always, the devil is in the details.

Watch as I drill down on those details and you’ll see a somewhat different picture emerge.

When the most common type of “sexualized behaviour” complained about is sexual jokes, you too might wonder who makes up the rank and file of the Canadian forces these days: warriors or social justice warriors?

This whole sexual harassment business in the Armed Forces is nothing less than an SJW/civilian bureaucrat driven witch-hunt. We were recently coerced into filling out a “voluntary” sexual harassment “survey” which was nothing but a succession of loaded questions designed to give a predetermined outcome of “all male soldiers are evil rapists” and “The Armed Forces is a seething cesspool of discrimination and misogyny”…

Garbage in, garbage out – but it keeps the harassment industry empire builders and their feminist lackeys in uniform fat and employed.

Meanwhile, our brass refuse to stick up for the troops and throw us under the bus to suit the agendas of the chronically butthurt. DISGUSTING!!!

Anyone who doesn’t like salty jokes/language in the CAF is in the wrong profession.

The problem is not the soldiers reporting what is actually happening. The problem, as always, is the data interpretation.

The people collecting the data have a perverted view of the world, and so they classify “sexual jokes” as “sexualized behaviour” as if people, not to mention soldiers, are supposed to be little drones, devoid of testosterone and the drives and urges it gives people. A little hard to understand how they would expect a military to operate without a rather large amount of testosterone coursing through the veins of the combat arms soldiers, but then, I’m not a lefty.

I knew something had to be amiss when there was more assaults happening off the battlefield than on.

A dirty joke is not sexual harassment, poor taste maybe.

But they wouldn’t have enough shock value if they didn’t include them in there numbers

WOW, i see REAL SOLDIERS are being phased out. Hope Justin has some snowflakes guarding him if he is ever under threat. What am i saying, he would not have that kind of integrity when his personal safety is involved.

The Canadian military used to be a force to be feared. Now with the emphasis on having an army of “snowflakes”, ISIS and our other enemies will only fear that they may die “laughing” as our tutu-clad military advance towards them.

When I was in the a member of the Armed Forces, sex between two members of the same gender resulted in an instant discharge. :-)
