Was Wynne’s drive to get big money out of politics fake? $1,000 fundraiser invites questions

Brian LilleyArchive

Do you remember all through the spring and summer Kathleen Wynne and the Liberals said they wanted to crack down on all these big ticket fundraisers where lobbyists could get face time with the Premier? Did they mean it?

It doesn’t look like it because there’s another one, this time at the headquarters of a green energy company called Menergy.

For a measly $1,000 per person, you can attend this cocktail reception with the Premier and MPP Michael Chan.

I raised the question of whether or not Kathleen Wynne would resuscitate the campaign finance reform legislation but now I think I know the answer. Her actions speak much louder than her words.

I wonder what the ratio of union to non union jobs is in Ontario right now. That’s why Wynne keeps getting in. In that sense its rigged.
It is what Notely aspires to. Alberta will look like Ontario in no time.

They do not keep voting her in… The polls and the elections are all rigged… When people vote they should take their phones with them and snapshot their election choice to contrast against any election results…

Hey this is how the libs get in touch with the little people, you know since all the little people can afford 1000 for a dinner.
Funny how the left sells out to the rich and then their sheep claim the conservatives are the ones who cater to the rich.

She thinks she’s Hillary Clinton!!!!

It sounds good but in truth the libs are liars – and they probably hoped everyone forgot what they were told.

Wynne is Canada’s Hillary – if she’s registering a pulse, she’s still lying.

Ontario keeps voting her in, it’s weird. I heard a resident of Ontario say recently that he is proud to pay to be green, and boasted about all the coal plants being shut down and everything Wynne is doing. I am convinced it is a brain disease.

Please stop using the words “honourable”, and Kathleen Wynne in the same sentence. It is an oxymoron!

Keith Barnes;

$20 says the liberals will be reelected in the next election. Ontario voters openly accept corruption, waste, mismanagement, higher taxes and a reduced standard of living for their own children.

Slippery Wynne has already set the wheels in motion by offering a pathetic 8% reduction in hydro rates. She will use this obvious slight of hand to manipulate the weak mind of the average Ontario voter.

Ontario is a fucking joke!

The Liberals never mean anything and the sooner this bunch are thrown out, the better Ontario will be.

I wonder how many years it will take to straighten out the mess they have created ?

Slippery kunt!

Would be nice Deborah, but the Libs own the OPP. That attack ad during the last provincial election was undeniable proof, though of course they claim otherwise.

I think Wynnie would rock an orange jumpsuit with stripes on it. The level of corruption that she maintains is truly amazing. Her and McGuilty should be sharing the same cell in the pig pen. Now if only the OPP would charge her with one of numerous crimes against the people, and make sure that the legal system prosecuted her before she makes her getaway to the US, that would be nice.

I cannot stand her face..!!! When they do an article about her I wish they would only talk about her and not show any pictures or videos.
