(WATCH) Andrew Lawton: Trudeau's budget an attempt to buy re-election

Bill Morneau has tabled the Liberal government's final budget in advance of the fall election. The budget has tens of billions of dollars of new spending, and no end in sight for the deficit that the Liberals promised would be gone by this year.

But, aside from the obvious fact of federal politicians buying votes, are you also putting them all in the same “basket” re principles and policies??? I’d think about that one real hard given the SNC-Lavalin circus…

Now that borders on being a flair for the obvious. But turdo isn’t doing anything different than the Harper Government did prior to the last election. In our riding Conservative MP Pierre Lemieux went around with a shopping cart dishing out millions to millionaires: Skotidakis yogurt; MacEwen Agricentre; St. Albert cheese factory, etc.
