Caroline Lucas' Green Party tax on meat would starve poor families

Jack BuckbyRebel Contributor

The lone Green Party MP in Parliament has made her most mental proposal yet – she’s suggesting that Parliament should seriously consider a meat tax.

Now, I could do a video railing against veganism and making tired old talking points about vegetarianism. But that’s boring. Instead, I want to focus on a few inconsistencies. Namely, the fact that veganism isn’t good for the environment.

I also think we should think about how taxing meat can result in poor families starving. That’s no exaggeration – if we take away cheap sources of food for families already struggling, we’ll see more people relying on food banks… or starving.

Taxing meat out of existence is a bit of preventative maintenance by the leftist/enviro-communists who know that their policies will destroy the economy leaving grocery and meat counters empty just like in Venezuela.
Don’t let your dogs and cats out of sight.
