Yes, an even in “traditional costumes” the cultural appropriation goes on – from glass beads, to synthetic cloths dyed with synthetic dyes to synthetic feathers to metal buckles… It is indeed “guerilla theatre” and we’re supposed to buy into, lock, stock and barrel…

Why is the Native American using the whiteman’s language “English”?

If you listen to some of the youtube explanations by younger people, of what Thanksgiving is, you wonder what the hell world these kids are living in. They think it’s Macy’s parade and a football day!

Hmmm. Blue jeans and T-shirts. White man inventions. So why are these native Americans wearing White man clothes. Cultural appropriation! How would they feel if some White person called them racist and tried to rip off what they were wearing?

Oh yea, sports shoes and synthetic sole shoes in general, too, are not Native American wear. Was anyone wearing a watch? Eye glasses? Cell phone? Use gas / electric powered transportation? The list goes on.
