(WATCH) ReasonTV: Paloma Heindorff on the future of the homemade firearm movement

Rebel Staff

After Cody Wilson was arrested on a sex crime charge, Paloma Heindorff took the helm at Defense Distributed. Now she's leading a massive free speech battle over the right to download a gun.

Watch as Reason TV speaks with Heindorff about their fight with the government, and even the corporate censorship they’ve faced over the right to even talk about “ghost guns.”

I am not a fan of government enforced gun control… They are here for us and not the other way around, same as the “serve and collect” crew. Please support open carry for a more a responsible and a safer Canada.. “If open carry can save just one life in the absence of police protection or intervention in the commissioning of a crime it is worth it”.!!

I believe that maybe Winnipeg is exaggerating just a little bit and if they’re talking about homemade weapons/guns that could be anything from knives the ice picks.

“I’m sure some are, but no one is going to invest many thousands of dollars to buy 3-D printers and CNC machines, "

You can buy a 3D printer for a couple hundred dollars. Whatever you make isn’t going to be particularly durable, but it will get through a metal detector.

My point is that street thugs are not going to be stopped by Bill Blairs idiotic harassment of lawful licences gun owners. If all guns were taken out of private hands the thugs would make their own or simply buy them from some third world government runner.

And Winnipeg police DID say that they were encountering significant numbers of them.

Al..I know what Andrew is trying to say and he’s right as there are exceptions to the rule for every argument.. and personally after looking at some of those homemade weapons you provided I think I’d sooner use a slingshot and a rock.. Ingenuity and need is the basis for everything ever produced and personally I believe that the police are way less concerned about homemade single fires then automatics in the hands of gangsters… Because automatics in the hands of law-abiding citizens would be an asset to law-enforcement.
GO MAX.. 2019.!!

“Winnipeg police said yesterday that a lot of the firearms they encounter are homemade.” I’m sure some are, but no one is going to invest many thousands of dollars to buy 3-D printers and CNC machines, then build a gun to hold up a 7-11. When they can buy a stolen gun smuggled in from the US for a couple hundred dollars.

How did we get democracies in the first place? How did we defend democracies once established from fascism and communism?
How do fascists and communists take away your rights and freedom and liberty ?
Answer these these questions three.

Home and family is our greatest asset and we are not allowed to protect either under current federal legislation without extreme duress and unnecessary bureaucracy applied to the one protecting his family or property..
Please support Max Bernier and Derrick Fildebrandt in their bids to free this Country and province from its current “parties of entitlement“

Blaming the victim for violence perpetrated against them has no place in Canada..

When seconds count official help is only 30 minutes away.. please support castle law for personal and property protection in Canada.

Please support open carry for a safer and more responsible Canada..
if only one life can be saved in the absence of any police help it is worth it.!!

I’m sure that all of this is lost on Bill Blair and the tall foreheads at the PMO. The Winnipeg police said yesterday that a lot of the firearms they encounter are homemade. But no matter. Hassle the law abiding some more since the low hanging fruit makes virtue signalling so easy.
