Not only is this funny but it’s brilliant. Free Speech shows who is wise and who is otherwise. It also keeps us free to hold unpopular ideas. Let the people decide, not bureaucrats and government goon squads. Remember too that it was the National Socialists who burned books which didn’t fit with their racist ideology. Do we want that again?

The more clauses the more room for distortion of the law. K.I.S.S.
Canada wants to punish wrong ideas, and has a million clauses to accomplish it. “free speech BUT” until there is none. America’s first amendment protects free speech which fosters free ideas. Its the foundation block on which everything else sits.

Too bad for Canada, whose rights are being eroded daily, at the whim of a tyrannical government.

Thank you for the informative video and I would like to add (not sure if Canada and U.S. laws are identical) but that not just death threats but threats of physical harm are indictable offenses). Now in the case of someone claiming “but I was just joking”, which they may or may not have been true, the legitimacy of the claim is based solely on how the recipient interpreted it, which should give someone pause before jokingly telling someone other than your closest friends that, “I am going to kick your ass” etc or other similar type jests, especially in this hyper political environment.
