Jay Kelly, You for got to mention how she walked around and was never stopped by security. Perhaps Jay you should fly to Saudi Arabia or Iran and denounce the treatment of women in those countries.

But the gimmick backfired badly when the Attorney-General, Senator Brandis, stood up and rebuked the insult Mme Hanson had delivered in the chamber. He pointed out that she had insulted all Australians, but especially the five million Australians who are practicing Muslims.

This is the sort of cheap trick The Rebel might have tried to engage in before this week. Thanks to U.S. President Trump, cheap gimmicks do not cut it any more. Australians are not racists, nor are they ignorant.

I didn’t watch more than five minutes of that…because I was already familiar with all the fact, logic, reason, commonsense and moral absolutes she was speaking from…I’ll watch the rest later.

If Canadians no longer want any kind of religious icons to be visible in the workplace, eg. Crucifixes, crosses, etc., then if Islam is establishing Burkas as a religious requirement, then they are not acceptable.
