WATCH: Justin Trudeau booed more than Gary Bettman at Edmonton Oilers game

Mike GwilliamRebel Columnist

Justin Trudeau has been booed once again at a Canadian sporting event, this time in Edmonton.

On Saturday night when the Oilers took on the Flames, fans paid tribute to Canada's own Hayley Wickenheiser. The ceremony featured messages from hockey great Mark Messier, Commissioner Gary Bettman and Justin Trudeau.

When Trudeau was on screen fans voiced their displeasure by booing the Prime Minister. That's right, Trudeau was booed at more than Gary Bettman at a hockey game. Now that's saying something.

This isn't the first time Trudeau was booed at a sporting event. In 2016, Trudeau made a video message at the Grey Cup in Toronto. Even there, he was subject to a chorus of boos.

Time to resurrect an old Trudeau joke.

Justin was on one of his many self promotion junkets- this time in Scotland- and was given a bolt of plaid cloth as a gift. When he got home to Ottawa he checked in with a tailor and asked what he could have made from the material. The response was he could have a vest made up with that much material.

He didn’t have time to do anything at that point so he went west on his Love Me Do tour. When he got to Alberta he checked in with a tailor there about getting the vest made. The tailor said he could make him not only a vest but a suit as well. Justin asked why he could get more made in Alberta than in Ottawa. The tailor replied, “You’re not as big a man in the West as you are in the East”.

Seems there is a large disconnect from reality with CBC and the leftard cheerleaders. This is reality – Trudeau being booed. Yet CBC paints him as adored and loved by all. But not a shocker, if it weren’t for the blatant nepotism within the public sector Junior never would have gotten into power in the first place.

“Take the case of Pierre Juneau, a long-time Trudeau friend. In 1968, Juneau became the first chairman of the Canadian Radio and Television Commission (CRTC), where he led Trudeau’s mission to increase Canadian content over the airwaves. Trudeau brought Juneau into his cabinet in 1975 as minister of communications before winning a seat in the House of Commons. Trudeau opened up a riding for Juneau by appointing the member from Hochelaga, Gerald Pelletier, to become Canada’s ambassador to France. But Juneau lost what was considered a safe seat in the by-election and was forced to leave cabinet. Juneau then moved into the public service as undersecretary of state. In 1980, he became deputy minister of communications, and in 1982, the president of the CBC. "

“Financial reports filed with Elections Canada by so-called third parties show 104 groups, primarily labour unions, spent just over $6 million during last fall’s marathon campaign. That’s more than twice the number of groups that were involved in the 2011 federal election and almost five times more money. …The third parties in the 2015 campaign included a number of progressive groups who advocated strategic voting to defeat Harper’s Conservatives, as well as some individuals. Their spending ranged from as little as $136.66 to a high of $431,640.”

I just sent this to CTV News Channel. They were spewing their fake news today on how popular Trudeau is.

Good to see Edmonton hockey fans are on to the guy who wants to “phase out” their provinces primary, and for at least the next 50 years, natural resource. Looking forward to how this sentiment reflects of Notley in the next election. His carbon tax is a toothless and ineffective reaction to something that will not take place for decades. We have no alternative to oil. If we did we already would have “transitioned” and made that our new economic driver. Wind? nope. Solar?. Nope. Waves? Nope. Then what my mindless Prime Minister? Ah yes, a feel good (except for all of us who will pay) tax that will do nothing but make us poorer. He doesn’t mind, he can afford it.

Of course Justin needs two nannies to look after his kids. First, because they’re probably spoiled rotten and their parents can’t control them, and Granny, Margaret, can’t because she’s too busy playing at the beach on the stones. Reminds me of the story from back in the 70’s…“Did you hear that Pierre and Margaret worked together building a fireplace at 24 Sussex? It’s true. While Pierre did the trommelling, Margaret laid the stones.”

My daughter was at this hockey game. She told me the fans indeed were booing very loudly and some of the more rowdy young guys stood up and were yelling at the big screen when jug head appeared. I asked her if she and her boyfriend were booing and she said yes. My reply was thanks to both of you.

I’m hoping that the two games with that amazing response will be the start of something that will build to a losing crescendo on election night. He’s got to go.

HEY!!….GUESS WHAT…I personally took part in the install of the entire audio system that Rogers place arena is using. and yes i was working on that score clock too. Trueyutz’s face isn’t worthy of tainting the millions of LEDs that makes up that score clock’s 4 huge screens. I am very happy to hear the multitudes of people booing our prime minister. never the less it will never make him honest or useful though.

Please someone fix the public youtube channel. The videos have not been added to the main playlist since Jan 10
This makes finding and playing the videos extremely tiresome.

Harley McCartney commented – “Boo Justin did your father tell you when he gave us the finger from the train in down town Calgary. Back at ya.”

That was in Salmon Arm BC Harley, and baby doc was present to witness what Canadians thought of papa doc’s ruinous commie economics, in the news reels he seemed amused at the angry workers protesting outside the train, The Salmon Arm “salute” turned Trudeau’s western train tour into a balistic tossed salad as they were greeted with thrown eggs and tomatoes at every small town stop – so they sped through Calgary in top gear but a few Canadian patriots managed to egg his car while it was moving outside Calgary.

At the time, price inflation due to deficit spending at high interest rates was sucking one cent of value out of the Canadian dollar every month but wage controls prevented workers from demanding increases. Trudeau’s new National Energy Program was seen as a direct assault on an already-beleaguered Alberta energy sector and unemployment was hitting depression-era levels in resource towns east and west.

Deja vu

Shazam, better route the “Love me” selfie PR tour out to the western hinterlands and jerk the rubes around, – they must not get CBC Justin feed out there.

Trudeauphiles tend to stay away from Oilers and Eskimos games.
Those logos and nicknames are just so, so – - – you know, TRIGGERING.

The ethics commissioner is probably so infatuated with this arrogant muslim loving idiot that he will get a free pass just like us paying for everything especially 2 nannies, that just ticks me off to no limit. There, he is filthy rich and we still have to pay for 2 nannies, I’m fuming mad over this still. The absolute nerve and unbearable entitled, I hope he rots in hell one day.

Glenn Craig – you nailed it. The CBC missed the real story again. How typical. Edmonton and Toronto being the Mecca centres for liberal love, it’s interesting to note that obviously far more right wingers are sports fans than lefties.

This video does not give an actual sound bite of what is was like. Was at the game, Haley, love what you’ve done for hockey and our presence on the world stage. When the little potato gave his per-written, look at me statement, well, first time I have heard 18,000 plus people boo so loud you could not hear the potato’s rhetoric . It was awesome !!! And well deserved.
Waiting to see if the ethics commissioner does what’s right.

I wonder if he is still as popular in the native communities since trudoop has done absolutely nothing for them, no cleaner water, etc, since they were brought in by the bus loads to vote for this horrible garbage trudoop. Ya, most natives were so against Harper, but now they have a twit who can’t reason anything except to do selfies and this idiot couldn’t care less about them or any of us for that matter.
commented 2017-01-17 14:09:20 -0500
Dispicable, useless, wasteful trudoop is a total embarrassment to Canadians. It’s all about him, the privileged and ENTITLED. 10 holidays on our dime, I can’t even afford one. Millions and millions spent for absolutely no benefit at all. But in the maritimes and ontariowe (mainly gta) and pot-smoking, bought lefty environMENTALists and the ever-adoring evil msm, trudope still ranks way up there.

I can’t wait for numb nut’s travelling road show to hit Calgary. Maybe DEB G., RON VOSS, LEE HORSEMAN, BILL ELDER and other southern Alberta Rebelites could arrange a “reception” of sorts. That expediter of pipeline construction, Kent Hehr, should be extended a good dose of abuse at the same time. I think Baby Doc just shows up here to spite us.
commented 2017-01-17 13:28:18 -0500
Lock him up..!!!
Try him..!!
Then hung by the neck or burnt at the stake.!!
Then start the hockey game.

Baby Doc would just look on the chorus of boos at both sporting events through Meryl Streep eyes. That these are just a bunch of deplorables who are so unsophisticated that they watch hockey and football. Certainly not the elite Laurentians with their refined tastes. So what would he care.
commented 2017-01-17 12:40:45 -0500
These jerks will never show up to a sporting event in person, because they know the publics reaction.

I wish the stampede parade board would ask Canadas triple threat morons to be parade marshals and make them ride mules that buck on command when the crowd booed. Now that would be a fun watch.
