As part of the one day conference on Islam and the West, August 21st in Los Angeles, Nonie Darwish, the expat Egyptian author speaks on the relative values of Christianity and Islam. Nonie gives a powerful and moving presentation.

Nonie Darwish is the author of numerous books including Now They Call Me Infidel, Cruel and Usual Punishment, and The Devil We Don’t Know.
She studied Sociology and Anthropology at the American University in Cairo, from there she worked as and editor and translator for the Middle East News Agency until she emigrated to the United States.
Following the September 11th attacks, Darwish began writing columns critical of Islamic jihad and extremism and the silence of moderate Muslims.
Nonie is a senior Fellow at the Center For Security Policy, president of Former Muslims United and Arabs For Israel. She speaks at numerous universities including Harvard, Yale and Oxford as well as in prestigious institutes such as the United States Congress, the House of Lords and the European Parliament.
