WATCH: Our poll results are in and most Canadians agree --- Kick them out

Brian LilleyArchive

Most media outlets try to tell you what to think, but we actually believe in asking you what you think.

Controversy arose last week over stripping dual nationals of Canadian citizenship if they carry out terrorist attacks against Canada or join an army fighting ours. We told you what we thought – kick them out.

We also asked Canadians what they thought and sought your help to fund a scientifically valid, reputable poll.

Well, the results are in and they're stunning. We asked:

Fully 84% of Canadians agree with stripping dual nationals of Canadian citizenship if they attack Canada (69% strongly, 15% moderately).

Numbers like this mean support crosses party lines and includes immigrants.

Trudeau says terrorists should keep their citizenship though he agrees with revoking the citizenship of Nazi war criminals. When asked why, he said Nazis lied on their paperwork.

Nazi war criminals were stripped of citizenship because of the heinous acts they committed, but it's revealing that Trudeau feels lying on paperwork is worse than joining a foreign army or fighting against Canada and Canadians.

Justin made those comments near one of the Toronto 18's targets, close to the financial district. They planned to pack U Haul trucks with fertilizer bombs and detonate them while downtown Toronto was full of people.

The plot's mastermind, Jordanian born Zakaria Amara, would flee Canada once the bombs went off. Amara showed no loyalty to or love for Canada. He wanted to kill as many Canadians as possible, so why should we keep him?

Trudeau and the media want you to think stripping citizenship was the idea of Stephen Harper and the Conservatives, but since 1977, when Justin’s dad Pierre was prime minister, Canada has revoked citizenship more than 50 times. The only new thing is applying it to terrorists.

While Trudeau and the media party oppose it, the overwhelming majority of Canadians support kicking terrorists out.

I’m surprised someone would want to keep anyone who’s committed terrorist acts against Canada. What reason would there be to keep them? How do you have a rational conversation with someone who would support a terrorist? If they support the terrorist does it not make sense they should also be stripped of citizenship?

Another Rebel poll that is completely full of shit. LOL.

I don’t know what I’d do without you guys. Live in bliss and ignorance I guess. I haven’t work but I guess all in all we’re all bricks in the wall. Surreal since I grew up on that mantra and now I am one.

What a crackpot Trudeau is. How can the lame stream media not challenge him for these dimwit comments. Have they no pride in their country & how everyone else looks at us? I on the other hand want to be proud of my Prime Minister, but if (I pray that never happens) should Justy become PM, I might have to start lying about where I’m from.

@marty Ashfield – We know Trudeau loves him some Muslim Men and the worst insult they call someone is a : monkey pig
To my knowledge a monkey pig is not an actual creature, noble or otherwise.
Can we split the hair and refer to him as a Shiny Monkey Pig?
Does everyone concur?

It’s OK Guy I too have been guilty in the past for comparing this turd with those noble animals – the Ponies, some shiny some not, but noble all.

“So Trudeau is ok with revoking citizenship if one lies on a citizenship application but not if one commits and is convicted of an act of terrorism.” This was my comment on facebook immediately after watching the Munk debate on CPAC and the scrum afterward. I was absolutely stunned that even Trudeau could say that with a straight face. And I noticed he even pointed out that Brian Lilley had asked the question. Trudeau actually believes he has the moral high ground there. My Canadian ancestry goes back to the 1600’s. In fact, I was told that an ancestor was the first documented murder victim in Canada. (My dad told me that and he’s dead too so sprinkle salt all over that if you want.) My point is, with what Trudeau and Mulcair have maintained with regard to terrorism and refugees and gun control and the economy – I’m not all that sure that come October 19th, if either them end up in 24 Sussex – I will value my Canadian citizenship so much. I was born here but if I have to give it up to Sharia law, I’d much sooner live somewhere warm.

@marty Ashfield – Yeah, sorry. I must apologize to all the actual Shiny Ponies that have ever lived. You are correct, most shiny ponies at least know not to s#!t where they feed. :-)

@ron Voss – I would have been very surprised to discover that after at least 16 years of socialist feminazi indoctrination that University Graduates were NOT inclined to walk off the cliff of Forced Islamification support. A few people excape with their morals and ability to have free independent thought but most fall prey to the brain washing … at least until they have worked as a server for a decade trying to pay off their student loans.

Calling Trudeau a ‘Shiny Pony’ is very insulting to all Ponies shiny or not. The guy is brainless and proves it every time he opens his mouth, whereas all ponies are fairly smart animals.

Okay Richard Doug Brinkman … I finally clicked your link … I can see you are a Citizen Journalist in Edmonton. I do not care for most of your material but good for you doing what your audience appreciates.
I have to tell you, some of the clips were of things I support but I would rather punch myself in the face than watch some of the other stuff I tried to watch. Mulcair, Trudeau, Notley et al and Global Warming Consensus Zealots drive me nuts and I can only tolerate a small dose of their stupidity before I MUST extricate myself from such content.
BTW you are only allowed one account.

According to the survey, university-educated people are among those who are more likely disapprove. A sad commentary on our leftist-dominated universities!

Oops, I just noticed a spelling mistake, that was supposed to be Trudeau … Mea Culpa :-(

Trudeau and Mulcair support terrorists. It’s just that simple.
commented 2015-10-06 19:44:10 -0400
If we had a Pony on the farm as stupid and belligerent as Trudeau, we would have sold it at auction … even if it was bought by a dog food producer!
commented 2015-10-06 19:42:05 -0400
No Turdeau, if you say you want to become a Canadian because you want to be Canadian … then you take terrorists against Canada … you lied about why you wanted to come here. Even if you play by his rules it applies to Terrorists you stupid shiny pony!
commented 2015-10-06 19:40:37 -0400
Canadians seem to be more aware of the liabilities of keeping terrorists than our political parties. It has nothing to do with who was born in what country. It is the threat to Canadians! Are the Lieberals and Dippers daft?!

Well we could start by sending Mulcair to France. I am not suggesting that Mulcair is a Terrorist but his agenda would be the end of Canada, so what is the difference.
