In a new video by Campus Reform, Cabot Phillips asked students at the University of Maryland to sign a petition allowing him to play on the women's basketball team.
Phillips tells students he identifies as a woman and wants equality to “let everyone try out for whatever team they identify as.”
One one point after signing Cabot's petition, he tells her he'll see her on the court next year to which she replies with “yea, I'll be the one who signed that guy's petition.”
“Thank you, well that girl..” Cabot corrects her.
Students even sign after Cabot says it shouldn't be about men and women and there should only be one sports team.
Out of the 50 students who spoke with Cabot, 49 signed his petition. Except for one.
Watch until the end of the video and see some common sense!
