Watch: Canadian college students say: Women shouldn’t vote!

David MenziesMission Specialist

To mark the centennial of the women’s suffrage movement, we dropped by the Ryerson campus to see how the kids feel about it.

Watch as the kids eagerly sign our petition to stamp out women’s suffrage.

Phyllis Seitz – The point of the exercise was to show students were blank about “sufferage” let alone the finer historical details – a secondary revelation was the question posed elicited non-thinking responses – there is no “entrapment” in exposing the public ed system of its deficiencies in teaching relevant history and encouraging critical thinking.

In simple terms Dave ran an ad-hoc social experiment with results the status quo (read: smug) liberal collectivist clique are uncomfortable with – remember these are the kids who will be tasked with paying your state entitlements while dealing with the debt you saddled them with – they have to be twice as bright, innovative and adaptable as you were to keep the entitlement Ponzi scheme afloat – by the looks of the quality the public ed systems are producing, you can kiss your old age sinecure good bye right now, these automatons will need more support subsidy than you did at their age.

Menzies you are rather polite and friendly. No pamphlet or explanation, that’s ok, where do I sign? I want to be a part of “real CHANGE” kinda stuff in Canada.

Ironic on so many fronts.

The one young lady asked if Mr. Menzies could define the term. Instead of explaining it and educating this young lady he continues his entrapment by not explaining. Perhaps someone could put Mr.Menzies on the spot and ask him, without the aid of the internet, who led suffrage in Canada, which province was first to adopt women’s right to vote, which ruling party was first to embrace suffrage, in what year was it that all Canadian women had the right to vote. Yes, it was sad that not one young lady questioned the questioner, but I think Mr. Menzies would have done better to educate these young women and explain what suffrage means, and encourage them, then, to read more on the subject. If someone stopped me on the street and asked me who was the prime minister of Canada during WW!, I would not know the answer. I could perhaps take a guess, that’s all. I am 62.

Perhaps this explains why so many feminists and women’s rights advocates are okay with gender segregation in mosques, with FGM,, with lack of gender equality in some countries, etc. Some of them are totally clueless. Suffragettes such as Nellie McClung, Emily Murphy, Irene Parlby, Louise McKinney, Henrietta Murphy, Dr. Emily Stowe, etc. would be turning over in their graves if they had to listen to such babble. What is happening to our educational system? I am extremely concerned about the future of our country with young people who are so lacking in basic historical facts.

You picked the right campus to run a spoof on zombies Dave. Ryerson is the mothership of Kooky Wendy and other professional social grievance mongers. The degree programs read like a menue at unicorn rainbow land cafe. These useless junk degrees attract zombies and lobotomize what’s left of their unwashed brain.

Receiving an unthinking response to a question/subject the respondent is unfamiliar with is a hallmark trait of a psychologically indoctrinated subject – not a thinking cogent person. Schools indoctrinate where they used to train or teach using independent critical thought processes.

With the offering of a degree programs in “social justice” studies becoming a trend in 2nd and 3rd tier Universities, a diploma that is devoid of any definable meaning or employable skills. Starting in 2021, expect your Moxies waitress to greet you with a warm, “Hello, my name is Wanda, and I have a BA in Social Justice, which has indebted my parents to the tune of $100,000. What sort of drinks can I start you off with today?”

HA! They tried to all sound so knowledgeable and PC, yet knew nothing. What are our schools teaching them??? Women’s Studies? FAILING!

Good one David.

Oh c’mon Marek. University student that are totally unaware of the Womens Suffrage Movement.
This is the age group up here and down in the US that are stomping down the streets demanding some kind of change and they really are just a bunch of morons.

Well, there are people that believe that the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution put that great nation on a downward spiral from which it has never recovered …! And in fairness, the word “suffrage” sounds a little like “suffering” – which I guess is part of what was going on there. Good, fun video from David Menzies.

Other note: Maybe there is something to stamping out women’s suffrage if the last Federal election is anything to go by.

Oh Gawd! I really, really hope there were many, many out-takes not used because the students actually knew what suffrage is. Please Gawd, let it be so and that today’s students are not all complete morons.
