StaffRebel Columnist

An amazing new Budweiser video featuring Star Wars star Adam Driver (a veteran himself) will absolutely make your day.

Budweiser uploaded the video to YouTube, along with the description:

“This summer, we’ve been honoring those who protect our freedom to dream. So we delivered a life-changing scholarship to a family who has sacrificed for their country and for each other with the help of Folds of Honor and Adam Driver. #ThisBudsForYou

"Since 2011, we’ve awarded scholarships to more than 2,000 families of fallen or injured veterans through our partnership with Folds of Honor. And earlier this year, we honored another group of veterans with a surprise befitting their service.”

Check out this video and let us know what you thought about it in the comments.

Bravo Zulu that is what people of good character do, they actually help others with their own money or sweat. The exact opposite of progressives.

I wonder if any of the major breweries in Canada sponsor anything similar except for the likes of the Lesbian Arts Festival in Banff?…

To Adam Driver, Budweiser and especially you Bravo Zulu. I commend you for what you have done for these military families to allow them to succeed in their future goals. Calgary we know Adam may not be at the Stampede but the Budweiser Heavy Hitch will be in the parade and at the grounds. Go and say hello at the grounds and congratulate their company for helping our young people…

Bravo Zulu; I see your mates fly over here from time to time and always think of you and others who guard our freedom.

This video left me feeling very emotional and proud, veterans have a long history of helping each other and the families who also need support.
Adam Driver, thanks for teaming up with Budweiser to surprise this family. We need to see more of these stories.

Bravo Zulu and your former team, God bless you. Thank you for your service and commitment.

May God bless Adam Driver, Folds of Honor and all the families of veterans everywhere who sacrifice themselves in the fight against evil. And also Budweiser.

One of the guys who got killed on one of my tours of duty had a young daughter.

Last year my old team got together and we paid her university costs – all of them – no government money – all personal cash – and all on the swearing of complete – and I do mean – complete – privacy.

If you asked any of the team if they contributed to a kids education, or the name of the kid you would get a blank stare.

Just her Mom knows – we stayed in the back ground. Her kid knows it was some ex-mil guys and nothing more.

Hate to say it because I am not usually mushy – this brought memories to my brain and tears to my eyes.

Good one – not enough of this good schitte happens.
