If you can’t handle the fact that The Rebel happily want me here for their financial purposes – then maybe you should leave or stop whining.

Let’s imagine for a second here, that I head into Chinatown Toronto on my day off from house arrest.

When I get there, I say, “Hey, Mr. Xuang, give me a double banquet burger.” Now, if I were to attempt this, I SHOULD know full well, Mr. Xuang has no double banquet burger to serve me.

I will look like a goddamn moron going from restaurant to restaurant there, asking for something, which based on the neighborhood, will certainly not be normal or available.

If it helps for you multi-culturalists, think of this website like Toronto Chinatown. You are now the asshole coming into a restaurant that clearly doesn’t serve banquet burgers, asking for a goddamn banquet burger.

When a leftist says he adores multiculturalism, yet approaches an obviously different culture demanding his hosts conform to his comfortable culture… Is that not total hypocrisy? I don’t go to Chinatown and demand such impossibility…

And so I ask, what the fuck are you doing in Conservative-town, demanding a double leftist burger??? Take a hint douchebag, time to sign on out, for the last time, and stop fucking with us here, you are being “culturally insensitive” if that’s the BS language that’ll get thru.

Yes – having opposing views is abusing the right to be here.

You can’t make this shit up.

Crowder and McInnes are a good combo, but I like them separately as well. I’d like to see more Crowder here, as well the combo, and we already have Gavin. They are a good insight into what is American for us. It makes sense to be curious about our neighbours, especially considering the fact that we share one of the biggest borders of any two countries, and what the U.S. does often affects us outright. It would behoove us to pay attention. Besides they are kind of hard to ignore.
As are Gavin and Crowder, in a good way of course.

Not like our loser trolls. Who abuse their right to be here.

These two are fantastic together…more of the same would be sweet!
commented 2015-10-05 16:26:22 -0400
Anyone see ads on this website??
commented 2015-10-05 15:59:15 -0400

You don’t get it – The Rebel want people with opposing opinions here, because it helps big time with traffic and ad revenue. They value me more than they do you in this regard.
commented 2015-10-05 15:50:17 -0400
Pretty sure that Rebel Media will come up with some sort of “ignore” feature for users to not see certain folks’ BS… Or some sort of voting thing, whatever it is, I’ll be happy when it arrives… Til then, I’m gonna keep hoping for a bridge to collapse on some of these trolls.
commented 2015-10-05 15:28:01 -0400

No one here is under any obligation to appease one person or 500 people. If YOU don’t like it – leave.
commented 2015-10-05 15:16:17 -0400
Some folks here would cry afoul if I showed up to a mosque, started cutting them up about their pedophile prophet… But I don’t do that, I say it here, among people who are, for the most part, on the same page as me.

The reason I don’t go picket a mosque, or pride parade, or whatever else left wing event or news source, is because despite disliking their message, I am a decent man who knows where I’m not wanted… Freedom of Association is the Freedom to Associate, and likewise, the Freedom to Not Associate, and a pretty large faction of folks here don’t wish to associate with a few folks who still can’t take a goddamn hint.
commented 2015-10-05 15:16:09 -0400

And here you go again talking about “Jimmy”.

Blame yourself.
commented 2015-10-05 14:57:07 -0400
Somebody should show you to the door.
commented 2015-10-05 14:43:45 -0400

Well if you respect Erin’s opinions – then you will concede that not everyone feels the way that you do and move the fuck on.

You don’t want talk about “Jimmy” – yet you are always whining about “Jimmy”. Shut the fuck up and stop contributing to something that you don’t want to read or talk about.
commented 2015-10-05 13:24:42 -0400
I respect Erins opinions, but I don’t agree with anyone calling what you do, anything but trolling for the sole purpose of disrupting and shutting down conversation on the topic at hand. I told her I didn’t come here to read about ‘Jimmy’ and I meant it. And here we are talking about Jimmy. Yuck.
In the ‘partial’ words of Vlad, go away now.

Richard Vanderlubbe said it very succinctly, “People have freedom of speech, no one is gonna arrest you here for calling us “redneck” or “slackjawed hillbilly”… But we also have freedom of association, and there is a line where freedom of speech and freedom of association meet.”
commented 2015-10-05 12:47:13 -0400

There are tons of threads on here where I haven’t posted at all. Typically I only really stay in 2 or 3 articles at a time – so there is plenty of discussion going on right now that either doesn’t involve me at all or I have only made a couple of posts.

The rest is simply your meaningless opinion. Some people like me and some people don’t. You know that obviously since you have had that exact discussion with Erin. I trust you will understand and appreciate that I respect her views over your views – AND you are both conservatives, which makes my point even stronger.
commented 2015-10-05 12:40:48 -0400
Same goes for Jay Kelly, he’d get my thumbs down too.

These trolls really stand out. And while I may disagree with folks on left-wing comment sections, they outright censor me on the spot, I don’t think that is “free speech”. The fact is, I simply do not visit those left-wing news sites. For all the blabbering the left does about “democracy” and voter suppression, some here sure dislike the idea of a democratic voting system to determine whether they’re up to snuff for the electorate (Rebels).

People have freedom of speech, no one is gonna arrest you here for calling us “redneck” or “slackjawed hillbilly”… But we also have freedom of association, and there is a line where freedom of speech and freedom of association meet.
commented 2015-10-05 11:14:04 -0400
Lol! Clinton regrets the confederate campaign buttons like he regrets Monica Lewinsky…
commented 2015-10-05 03:40:21 -0400
There are lots of people who come on with opposing opinions, they usually come for a while and then go elsewhere. They don’t usually ‘flood’ posts with the intention of just being annoying and disruptive. They usually stay on topic.

The conservatives here don’t all agree with each other, that should be self evident. We have lots of opinions from all corners. It is welcome. Free speech is welcome. Spamming, trolling and flooding threads is not. All you do is insult the site, and its forum participants. That’s fine, it’s a free country, but don’t expect people to put up with a constant battering of your abusive posts and like it.(sorry Maurice, I failed).
You are hijacking and monopolizing half the threads. You poke people with a stick on a regular basis, you inflame and bait. You abuse your free speech here. Letting you have free reign to do that is just putting up with trolls. I don’t think any site should have to do that. It inhibits participation. I realize this is your agenda.

I wouldn’t even give Garry a thumbs down, he doesn’t flood every thread day after day.
You?, damn straight I would. Brinkman spammer, stalker? yessir, I would.
commented 2015-10-05 00:18:14 -0400

What happened to free speech and praising The Rebel for not censoring like you claim other media sources do. You would be that person that would give thumbs down to people without even reading the comments.
commented 2015-10-05 00:09:24 -0400
I like your idea Richard Vanderlubbe, it could work.
commented 2015-10-05 00:09:08 -0400
It’s nice to know that conservatives here want people killed simply for opinions that they disagree with. Very Hitler-like.
commented 2015-10-05 00:07:22 -0400

Voting would be ridiculous – because there are people here who would just click thumbs down on comments that they haven’t even read – just to try to get rid of someone they didn’t like.
commented 2015-10-04 23:38:07 -0400
I guess any way you slice it, such a comment voting thing would not work. One can only hope some glass falls on these trolls from a highrise condo, or they put their earbuds in and go for a much-needed walk along a train track.
commented 2015-10-04 23:24:10 -0400
I make some snide remarks about The Rebel from time to time, but I really do want to see them succeed, my employer donates to the site on behalf of the company… I used to watch Sun News and drink beers everyday for about an hour or so when I got home from work, shouting praises at Brian Lilley on my TV screen for repeatedly saying “time to get out of the UN”.

But when folks are here to argue weak points, regardless of any facts could be presented, and ultimately they want to see this website fail, or convert to another CBC, CTV, Global, CHCH, CNN, NBC, etc… Well, how to deal with it? A web team censoring them on the spot is clearly hypocritical Torstar behavior.

Perhaps if one were to get consistent thumbs down, lets say 1000 times you are clicked down on unique visits (not more than one click per IP, per article) then your IP is removed from commenting privleges, almost like a private club, where your membership is constantly voted upon.
commented 2015-10-04 22:08:11 -0400

Yes, because you are adding so much to the discussion.
commented 2015-10-04 21:58:22 -0400
Another Jimbot thread, my gawd.
commented 2015-10-04 20:45:45 -0400

Why are you so uptight?
commented 2015-10-04 20:45:08 -0400

It’s not a popularity contest here. It’s discussion and debate. I know from the get go that most people here are not going to agree with me – just like they wouldn’t agree with you on a liberal media source/forum.
commented 2015-10-04 20:40:01 -0400

Why would he condemn the flag BEFORE it’s true meaning had been defined over time.

The KKK was acceptable at one point too.
commented 2015-10-04 17:28:44 -0400
Na, it would just add to the aggravation. The trolls would regard dislikes as a badge’s of honour, and get all their loser friends on facebook ,too lazy to actually post to like their comments.
