WATCH: Steven Crowder annihilates SJWs over 'cultural appropriation' hypocrisy

StaffRebel Columnist

In a new video, Steven Crowder battles the social justice warriors at Buzzfeed for their hypocrisy over 'cultural appropriation'.

The video comes after a Buzzfeed article about a so-called “outrage” over the band The Chainsmokers joking about Chinese people eating dogs. Newsflash for Buzzfeed, Chinese people actually DO eat dogs.

He then goes on about how the left opposes stereotypes about Asians doing martial arts, but then accuse white people of 'cultural appropriation' for doing martial arts. Insanity.

Watch the video and let us know in the comments if you agree.

Wow, Jay, you’re making a lot of incorrect assumptions there. It’s not The Rebel making this statement, it’s Crowder, on an American site. He’s an American citizen, btw, he was just born here. Take a look at the Rebels, listed on the side of the page. No Crowder. Then there’s the famous lefty’s lack of a sense of humour, when they’re the punchline. Conservatives can laugh at themselves (Rob Ford, Trump, etc.) but laugh at a left winger and suddenly we’re “insensitive”. And it IS kinda funny to see you accuse the Rebel of using distorted cultural stereotypes when the joke is about the left wing using distorted cultural stereotypes. Kind of an “I know you are but what am I?” thing.

Would it be fair to say that The Rebel is trying to make a political statement but is using distorted cultural stereotypes?

I like deer meat. I like eating rabbit, and I do not mind killing and cleaning the wee beast (the rabbit).

Perhaps The Rebel should try to respect Canadian’s lifestyle. Most of us eat meat, and most of us have a sense of how we catch it and clean it.

Jay Kelly, you do know it’s the hypocrisy he’s getting at. And we eat rabbit here even when deer are plentiful. I will admit that a certain amount of anthropomorphism has crept in though.

(Ouch! Some people in China actually eat dog meat.)

Where I live, people eat rabbit when they cannot get deer. The cute little things do not deserve to be eaten.

“Social Justice Warriors” and such terms are really ridiculous. When it comes to chickens, Steven Crowder should grow a pair.

I was reminded of the Japanese festival of fertility, the one where they have parades with giant penises (penii?) and so on. So does that mean that every non-Japanese woman who gets pregnant is inappropriately appropriating Japanese culture? Let’s dive even deeper: are homosexual men stealing Greek culture? If I get drunk and start a fight with a stranger am I insulting the Irish? If I’m playing cribbage and concede the game after one hand am I dissing the French? Am I insulting Liberals if I move into my parents’ basement and grow my hair long? Damn, Crowder’s right! Those goalposts really do keep moving!
