WATCH: This viral video exposes the true cost of Kathleen Wynne's minimum wage increase

StaffRebel Columnist

A new viral video by Ontario Proud has already been viewed over 2 million times and there's a good reason why.

The video exposes how raising the minimum wage is just another way for Wynne to buy votes, but the real cost of the raise is more unemployment, higher prices for goods and services, and more automation from big corporations.

Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Hey, I really like that striped jacket she was wearing . . . , she should be fitted in a complete suit of the same material.
Just like the crooks in the old days had to wear when serving jail time.
She needs to be jailed and not hailed!

“I hope those who voted for her last time will wake up!”

Not likely, they’ve either been indoctrinated fully or they are benefitting from the tax trough. The Liberals to this day in Ontario continue to blame Harris for all their woes though they are inflicted by the McGuinty and Wynne. Nothing will change until the public sector is radically reduced or the public sector is not allowed to vote in the elections.

Wynne and her predecessor have turned Ontario into a “have not” province; policies are bankrupting our once prosperous province. She and Trudeau run huge deficits and think it’s perfectly reasonable to expect future generations to pay the tab, while current taxpayers are getting squeezed !
I hope those who voted for her last time will wake up!

Correct me if i’m wrong, but don’t most public sector workers get an automatic raise if the minimum wage goes up? I’m fairly sure I heard that somewhere once, but i’m not positive. Oh I remember now, someone called into a radio show out here in B.C. when the minimum wage went up, claiming there were clauses in the union agreements mandating raises if the minimum went up. I don’t know if it’s true, but the caller sure sounded legit.

Cathy R said, “Wicked witch Wynne will be taking off on her broom after the next provincial election because she’s going to lose by a landslide.”

I desperately hope you are right, but I have this sinking feeling she will get in again. The Ontario Conservatives are a “Liberal lite” party with a full blown CINO as party leader, so I would not put too much hope in the Conservative party. And if the NDP win, they will probably be even worse than Wynne … if that is possible.

Wynne is an Orville Redenbacher look a like (Hee hee. Sorry Orville.) and a globalist freak. She doesn’t care about Ontario and only bends to the islamic and UN demands (who also don’t care about Ontario). A minimum wage hike to $15.00/ hour is just a way to steal votes and will destroy Ontario. Wicked witch Wynne will be taking off on her broom after the next provincial election because she’s going to lose by a landslide.

What about the Pensioners Wynne, remember those old people who could not afford to heat their homes, last winter. You going to give them more money? No, of course not, they are just a dying race, anyway.

Here’s the problem: two/thirds of the increasingly dumb Ontario electorate think it’s a good thing. A retired school-teacher told me this morning, “All I got to say is that it was needed and long overdue”. To which I replied, “So I guess twenty or twenty-five bucks an hour would have been a lot better, eh?”

The liberals sleight-of-hand technique on full display. How this leech has the gall to keep milking the public, is beyond all comprehension. Wynnie has no conscience and neither do those in her party!

And why is anyone surprised?

It is the lieberal way.

NDP and Lib governments have never taken the top spot and left the country or province in a better position.
