WATCH: Trump speaks at Flight 93 September 11 memorial service

Rebel Staff

Among his many appearances to mark the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 Islamic terrorist attacks on the United States, President Trump visited Shanksville, PA, where one of the hijacked planes — United Airlines Flight 93 —crashed that day.

Having learned about the attacks at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon while in mid-air, the 40 passengers and crew of Flight 93 realized that their hijackers were also planning to use their plane as a missile to destroy another location, most likely the White House.

They overpowered the hijackers and forced the plane to crash into a field in Shanksville instead, losing their lives in the effort.
