North Bay veteran Mike McNeil was injured in Afghanistan by an improvised explosive device (IED) – the kind of bomb terrorist turned millionaire Omar Khadr was building for Al-Qaeda.
Like most Canadians, McNeil was upset over Justin Trudeau's $10.5 payout to Omar Khadr and took out his frustrations by protesting outside of Liberal MP Anthony Rota's office.
McNeil explains in great deal about what he went through, still goes through, and dismisses the media party narrative of Khadr being a “child soldier”.

While Rota and McNeil never met face-to-face due to scheduling conflicts, the Liberal MP did talk to Cogeco and made the issue about veterans suffering from PTSD rather than the money given to the terrorist.
