WATCH: Would you rather your child had feminism or WHAT!? See how students react to this outrageous question

StaffRebel Columnist

In a new video by The Michigan Review, students are asked an extremely random question: Would you rather your child had feminism or cancer?

The question was originally asked by Milo Yiannopoulos on Twitter and the video was to promote his debate with Julie Bindel on February 23.

The reactions from some of the students are priceless and are exactly as you'd expect – mouths open in shock.

While the answers are all the same, the shock question was enough for some students to take interest in attending the debate.

Check it out.

I generally support The Rebel, but this question is idiotic, pointless & insulting.

I think the word feminism is a poor, confusing, unintuitive misnomer.
Most people don’t know what it means.
I didn’t know precisely either until I looked it up one day.

Feminism = equality for all females.
Racism = equality for all races.

See the problem?

And because of this, the word is packing a lot of negative connotations, some of it attributed to the female supremacists (feminazis) who erroneously identify as feminist.

“Gender Equality” has better clarity and precision; which is the opposite attributes of a PC euphemism.

How do you answer a stupid question? That should be the title of this vid.

That question is a micro aggression.

That’s a tough question for me…is the feminism terminal?

Did you get the passive-aggressive cry-bully wimpering from the bad hair fembot?
" I don’t go where there’s anger"

-Seems all the “anger” comes mostly from fembots railing against normality and dissenting opinion – so she must stay away from herself if she was to act on her train of logic (or illogic)

Universities have become lobotomy factories.

Well, give credit to the Uni for having the event at least. This day in age that says a lot. I’m curious to see if there’s tons of feminazi’s outside the event screaming their heads off, while there’ll be no men acting that way! Love to see the footage afterwards!

As in my post regarding that feminazi from buzzfeed, I think he should challenge her to cease using anything “built” or “invented” by men (which is pretty much everything on the planet!!).

Is Feminism like stupidity….which lasts forever.

Aristophanes — ‘Youth ages, immaturity is outgrown, ignorance can be educated, and drunkenness sobered, but stupid lasts forever.’

Bravo Zulu commented
It is usually curable
Feminism? A fatal disease”

Once upon a time the feminism movement was a good thing – won the vote for women for example. But the last few decades it has thoroughly been hi-jacked by females that have a peculiar and very select hatred. So I agree Bravo, some forms of cancer are curable or at least controllable, feminism however has become a fatal disease that nurtures illogical hatred and there is no known cure.

Most of the kids look triggered, not disinterested.

I had an Uncle have stomach cancer. He survived, and is working as a mechanic. I have a bother in law, who’s brother (and his wife) are Feminists. His wife left him, and then tried to burn down his own house with him in it. He still believes in Feminism, global warming etc.

it almost seems like campus people aren’t really interested in all this divisive horse shit. that could mean because they are out of touch with it or they could even be scared of dealing with the subject all together. for that matter people are so stuck in their bubble that they have become almost unapproachable in many ways and seem uninterested.
