This is why I love college football.
Anyone that knows me well knows that I am a huge Notre Dame fan but my love of college ball extends beyond the Fighting Irish to the way the game is played at that level.
Chances are taken, risk meets reward -- all in all, college football is far more exciting most weekends than what we get from the too often staid pros.
So with just six seconds left in Saturday’s game against Duke, the Miami Hurricanes received the ball from Duke. The score at this point is 27-24 in favour of Duke. Then came one of the great plays of all time and one of the most exciting finishes I’ve ever seen.
I may not be a Hurricanes fan but bravo boys, bravo. I won’t say anything more other than watch the video.
