In a new video, Australian YouTuber “Skill Up” dismantles the left-wing gaming website Polygon for an article they wrote accusing the new Call of Duty game of being “sexist, tokenistic and white-washing history.”
He opens up by saying no one ever accuses Saving Private Ryan for its portrayal of men and women because no one would dare to. However, video games get in or around the same era get a lot of flack.
After, he explains how World War II was in fact a “white man's war” and proceeds to dismantle every one of Polygon's claims.
If you thought extreme left-wing views didn't exist on video game sites, you were wrong. As the video description states, “Call of Duty: WWII has been accused by Polygon of opportunistically using women and ethnic minorities as buzzwords to tick boxes on press-releases, and apparently there weren't enough women or people of color on stage during the live-stream reveal.”
Watch and see for yourself.
