We don’t need no stinkin’ facts: Generation Trudeau says Fat Bastard Burrito is racist!

David MenziesMission Specialist

After a hard night of clubbing, the snack-shack of choice for many millennials is Fat Bastard Burrito Company but according to a recent Now Magazine article, that’s racist!

Despite citing some facts that show Mexicans do struggle a bit with weight issues and illegitimacy rates, the question itself seemed to set them off.

Watch as I ask overly sensitive members of Generation Trudeau, if they agree that the name and logo are racist.

I recall buying a bottle of Fat Bastard at LCBO a while back, as far white wine goes, it wasn’t bad!

The opening salvo in the video tells it all: you ask them if they saw any “fat bastards” in Mexico. No context, no indication you’re talking about a restaurant instead of the more common usage which is generally an insult directed at people. The fault does not lie on the respondents, it lies on the asker for being deliberately misleading.

The world is not going to hell because the youth have different opinions than older people. It’s always been the case. Asking people if a phrase commonly used as an insult is insulting … what do you think the answer is going to be?

It’s also interesting how Stephen E below, proclaims ownership of “facts” in something that’s entirely subjective.

By the way, there’s no “Generation Trudeau”. The Liberals won across all age groups. Moreover, some of the people interviewed here appear young enough to be Zers, not millennials.

“Generation Trudeau”, how big is it? Everybody under the age of fifty supports Trudeau and can be labelled thus by David Menzies? Can we think of labels for Canadians of this generation and label them? “Leftards” has been used on The Rebel by several less sophisticated commenters. “Lieberals” is supposed to be an insulting term for supporters of the Liberal Party of Canada. The Rebel can play with the terms “alt-right” and “alt-left” as though they were some real categories.

It is 2017, late summer, and we are Canadians. Why not go out into the bush and appreciate the beauty of the trees and rocks. Get out of the pubs downtown, and get into the real world. Tear off your shirt and photo-bomb a couple of newlyweds.

David Menzies, go for a paddle.

“Watching the PC waffle, especially in light of the facts.”

Waffle?! Waffle?!

I’ve never been so offended in my life. I’m sure all Belgians and their supporters will shocked by such a casual appropriation of their cuisine. Stand by for an HRC tribunal.

Terry Macleod—How can a guy take out in public someone that stupid?

Dave why do continually insist on wading in the shallow end of the gene pool with a microphone? Do you need an ego boost that badly?

The burrito company should hire a lawyer and sue the magazine and have them prove it’s racist. Put the damages asked for at $100,000 dollars and then see how the magazine responds . Hire a pooling company to survey Latinos for their opinion and go with the most positive.
The only way to stop these BS leftards is to use the court of law and public opinion.

With these dummies soon to be in charge, Canada’s future looks bleak. When things change, we will have to gather these people up and deprogram them.

Where is Venezuela on that chart? Rumor has it they solved the obesity problem, and eradicated all ailments associated with weight problems saving billions in health care in the process!

I’ve heard men and wemen of every political perversion, use that term frequently, and they weren’t talking about Mexicans

It was intresting to see the " educated youth " think on the fly

But Fat Bastard (of Austin Powers fame) lost 180 pounds on Jared’s Subway diet…

Mexican food had nothing to do with it. And Fat Bastard is as Scottish as Gavin….:-)
