Here are some pretty instructive news links for Islam in global ascendance for this weekend as well as some interesting historical bits on Islam, sexuality and slavery. I mean who knew. Right?
1. Russia finds secret mosque full of weapons, blows it up.
A police dog helped to find a cache with more than a kilogram of explosives of unknown origin. A bomb-disposal expert said extracting the explosives would be definitely unsafe and bomb technicians rolled in a water cannon, a source within Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) told RT.
The federal highway M5 passing right in front of the house was blocked in both directions and people were evacuated from all nearby buildings.
The house was used for gatherings of Salafis, followers of an ultra-conservative movement within Sunni Islam, and it was not registered with the regional Muslim community as an official house of worship.
(Parts of this story was covered in Friday's top five but the Russians blowing up the mosque to deal with the cache of explosives is new)
Shockingly, the handout tells migrants to ignore police and border control agency Frontex.
It says: "Do not respond to provocations by police!"
There are also scathing comments warning migrants that they will be asked "trick questions" and not to trust border agency Frontex because they are "not there to help you".
It goes on: "The Italian police and members of the European agencies (such as Frontex and Europol) might ask you some trick question to qualify you as an ‘economic migrant’ rather than an ‘asylum seeker’.
3. Andrew Bostom: Islam, sexuality, slavery and genital amputation and mutilation of (non-Muslim) men.
Don't romanticize the role organized crime, whether it is the traditional Mafia or more conspicuous motorcycle gangs, will play in the Islamic take over of Western civilization. They will assist, not resist, because there is enormous money to be made in the process.
MAFIA gangsters are helping support Islamic State's (ISIS) terror network by providing money, fake ID cards and weapons to jihadi militants, according to a Nato security expert.
The Islamist organisation is allegedly being kept afloat by criminal gangs in Europe and the Middle East who launder money and manage the flow of guns in and out of Syria and Iraq.
Dr Jamie Shea said as much as 90 per cent of the jihadis' support network was formed from organised gangs.
5. Austrian version of Generation Identitaire release video of one of their acts of defiance against a suicidal European establishment.
It's doubly cool as it is narrated by what sounds like a young Arnold Schwarzenegger!
(the banner says 'hypocrite'). These young Austrian men were protesting a "Refugees-Welcome" (propaganda!) play at the famous theater and Austrian leaders who say they will protect Austrians from the invaders, but don't.
A United Nations spokesman and Western diplomats based inside the Green Zone said their compounds were locked down. A U.S. embassy spokesman denied reports of evacuation.
Earlier in the day, a suicide bomber drove a truck loaded with three tonnes of explosives into a gathering of Shi'ite pilgrims in the southeastern Baghdad suburb of Nahrawan, killing 19 people and wounding 48 others in an attack claimed by the ultra-hardline Sunni militants.
People who do not submit to Islam or have a lifestyle proscribed by it are being killed with greater frequency in that increasingly Islamic nation, despite its official designation as a secular one.
A Hindu tailor has been hacked to death in a district of central Bangladesh, police say, the latest of a number of Islamist killings in the country.
Nikhil Joarder, who was in his early 50s, was attacked as he sat outside his shop in Tangail on Saturday afternoon.
Police said he had been arrested in 2012 for allegedly making derogatory comments about Islam, then released.
Islamic State claimed the attack although the authorities deny the group is active in the country.
A number of similar recent killings in Bangladesh have been claimed by various Islamist militant groups.
It should be noted that "derogatory remarks about Islam" would include non-believers pointing out that Islam demands the murder of those who insult their religious pantheon, and insult would include calling into question the divinity of that pantheon. Which means that legally, Muslims are obliged to kill non-believers who are open about it.
Pointing that out, is also a capital offense if done in a way that makes it look like a bad thing.
Much like Marxists do once they achieve enough political power. ABC has more on the murder of the Hindu here.
Even as the Bangladesh police dismiss the claims of al Qaeda-affiliated Ansar al Islam behind the twin murders in Dhaka, the militant group released a new video showing graphic images of gay rights activist Xulhaz Mannan and his friend Tanay Majumder, lying in pool of blood in the former’s apartment. The video comes three days after Ansar al Islam released a statement claiming responsibility for the murders of ‘pioneers of practicing and promoting homosexuality in Bangladesh.’
8. UKIP's Nigel Farage warns of the consequences of Merkel's deal with Turkey to stay in the European Union.
He speaks about the domination of Turkey, but describes the problems with Islamic values. In fact he understates the dangers of both by a large margin.
