What the frick, Tomi Lahren?!

Faith GoldyArchive

Following her debut appearance on The View, in which she outed herself as pro-choice, Tomi Lahren's program has been suspended from The Blaze for a week.

While I'm usually #TeamTomi, I'm not buying that she thought this one through.

I dissect her dimwitted arguments in support of abortion and tell you why — according to science, the US Constitution and libertarian political philosophy — it's time for Tomi to rethink her stance and not give in to the temporary flattery from her natural enemies on the Left.

Tom Forsythe,

There is no conflict. The debate has been settled, despite what pro-lifers think. The genie is never going back into the bottle. A woman should have the right to do what she wants with her body and that supersedes everything else.

Tom Forsythe,

Nor should it be. There is still a recommended time frame in weeks per science, medical aspects and viability. You are totally wrong there. That is the very reason why the vast majority of doctors and scientists support it. In other words, it is science approved, which negates Faith’s points completely.

It doesn’t mean anything of the sort. Also keep your fairy tale churchy talk out of government, policies and law.

To the anonymous commenter who says that “science and scientists are involved in the abortion process in Canada and America. Government didn’t just pick the number of weeks out of their ass.”

First of all, in Canada, abortion is not a crime at any stage of pregnancy. The murder statute states that you “become a human being” when you have “fully proceeded from the mother’s body in a living state.” Canada is the only democracy in the world with no abortion statute.

As to the numbers in the US, they were arrived at by politicians, not scientists. The decisions were made based on political considerations, not scientific or medical data.

Pro-choice really means pro-death! I wonder if Tami ever heard o the fifth commandment, Thou shall not kill.

Pro-lifers generally acknowledge that an unwanted pregnancy is a burden, and an intrusion on bodily autonomy. Will pro-choicers acknowledge that an abortion is the intentional taking of an innocent life, and an initiation of violence?

At least then, we can have a rational discussion as to whose rights shall prevail, in this conflict.

Apparently Faith doesn’t understand that science and scientists are involved in the abortion process in Canada and America. Government didn’t just pick the number of weeks out of their ass.
